Mr. Görgey Art Hotel & Bistro Visegrád — Hotel in Szentendrei járás

The hotel is overall cosey and clean. The staff was super friendly and made a notable effort to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We also enjoyed the sauna & pool. The reason for the low rating is the accumulation of the following issues we encountered: (1) We were not informed that the jacuzzi was out of order when making the reservation. (2) Neither of our two rooms were cleaned (sheets were not replaced, trash bin not emptied, etc...) during our 3 days stay. We only received fresh towels after requesting them. (3) We arrived at around 21:00 pm on a Friday and had to wait for about 15 min. outside the hotel until someone received us. We had informed the hotel that we will check-in late but the reception was closed and no one answered the door. Luckily we purchased a local sim card on the way from the airport so we were able to call the owner and notify her that we had arrived. (4) We wanted to prepare ourselves a cup of tea/coffee we brought with us from home but the rooms are not equipped with a kettle. However, when we requested to use the kettle from breakfast (which we paid for) before the meal, we were told by the hotel owner that it is against the hotel policy and that we can only pay for coffee they served before the meal or drink the coffee included in the meal we paid for. I find this very disappointing and view it as a lack of minimal hospitality. (5) They served the exact same breakfast meal on all 3 days. The variety was limited, the bread was relatively dry and on the last day the coffee pot was less than half full with cold coffee that was apparently left over from the day before (we were the first to sit down when they opened the breakfast tables at 8:00). (6) The showers are very inconvenient since there is no way to hang the shower head and the shower is so small that the entire bathroom floor becomes quickly flooded. We also accidentally pushed in the shower switch which caused the shower to completely stop w working until the maintenance...

We didnt stay at the at the hotel, we just ate at the restaurant and the food was a straight scam. 4550 HUF for a ~28cm (or maybe smaller) pizza and only half of it had any toppings on it. we had to wait around 45 minutes or even more just for our order to get taken, and then we had to wait around 30 mins for 3 pizzas. The staff were underprepared, (because we came with a group of around 20+ people) and it took them a while to pick up the pace. In conclusion it was an overall bad experience bith money and foodwise, but they do have egg and lactose free options and the staff were really apologetic about the situation. One last thing: They count up 13% of the total price. You decide if thats too...

A személyzet kedves volt. Jól megközelíthető. Az épület szép és stílusos. A vacsora ízben és választékban kifőzde jellegű volt. A reggeli sem volt túl jó, a péksütemények kifejezetten szárazak voltak. Ebből kifolyólag a félpanziós ellátás egyáltalán nem érte meg az árát. A szoba elképesztően kicsi volt különösen a fürdő. A takarítás hagyott némi kivetnivalót maga után, az ágynemű több helyen foltos volt. Az épület maga stílusos és szépen berendezett, azonban a szobára ráfért volna egy felújítás. A hétvégénk "fénypontja" az volt amikor távozáskor a recepciós közölte velünk, hogy a jakuzzi használatáért előre egyeztetett 6500 forint helyett 18500 forintot számol fel, mert tovább maradtunk. Fontos azonban leszögezni, hogy egyetlen kolléga sem volt már este az épületben, valamint egy működő óra sem volt ott, továbbá a wellness részleg elvileg 9-ig tart nyitva azonban senki nem jött oda. Ezek felül előre nem közölték azt, hogy a tovább maradásunk esetén plusz díj kerül felszámításra (mindezt úgy , hogy elvileg a felszámított szolgáltatásért egy üveg ital is járt volna) Ezt a fajta vendéglátói magatartást elfogadhatatlannak tartom és egyben szégyenteljes is, hogy így próbálják lehúzni a vendégek. Szerencsére sikerült a recepcióssal egyeztetünk aki nagylelkűen engedett is azonnal a számlából, így csak az előre meghirdetett ár másfélszeresét kellett kifizetnünk. Sajnos nem tudom szebben kifejezni mennyire undorító és visszataszító dolog az, hogy mindenféle előzetes kommunikáció nélkül próbálunk minél több pénzt lehúzni a vendégekről. Egyáltalán nem véletlen a sok negatív visszajelzés a szállással kapcsolatban. Összességében egyáltalán nem tudom ajánlni ezt a szállást, ami kár mivel maga az épület és a helyszín...
