P4W Hotel - Residence Szombathely — Hotel in Szombathelyi járás

The staff members (I met two of them) were both very polite, kind and also very helpful (e.g. in finding nearby restaurants etc.). The enteriour of the hotel is lovely. Checking in and out was easy, the WiFi worked fine. The heart of the city is just a healthy 10-min walk away from the hotel.||||Unfortunately the cleanliness: there was a long spider's net hanging from the ceiling above the bed, and I found pieces of someone else's hair in the bathroom :(. Neither one was a huge disgust for me, but I think there are worth mentioning. However, the towels, the bed and the floor were properly cleaned. I had problems with sleeping, as three huge lights, placed just in front of my window were on the whole night - while the room had unfortunately only one curtain and no window blinds.||These are all minor "weaknesses" of the hotel, and in my mind easily and quickly repairable, that's why I...

Its a small hotel at a mainroad. It has a nice parkinglot at the back which is secured parking at night as they close the gate. This hotel has a decent room, beds are okay, the bathrooms too. Nothing exiting, basic good and clean. However most rooms are next to a noisy road so do not take room 14-18 ( for first floor) and make sure you turn off all heating as the rooms are very hot. The breakfast buffet is really the minimum but they have it. Price of 50Euro is what i would maximum pay indeed. ||Extra note: Make sure you pay attention when paying, the guy ( tall, big nose, bold/short hair, 40 yrs old) at the frontdesk came to me with a vague argument that he wanted to write my creditcard number somewhere... i asked him why, he couldn't explain. So i said no, you can't do that. He said ok, fine...

VERY dated. Stains, tears, unknown, and poor services. The only positive is the breakfast. Pictures tell the story. We put the sign on the door for room service, and never received it. Then cleaning would maybe drop off one new towel, when we didn't ask for it. Couldn't figure it out...Had to ask for bed sheets (which didn't fit) and was met with attitude like it was a HUGH inconvenience. Pillows were horrible. We paid for nights that we didn't stay and they wouldn't refund our money. I guess it states something in fine print, in Hungarian, but we were never told. The woman who booked the two rooms never sent the paperwork and wasn't even at that location when we checked in. We weren't expecting high quality, but we didn't even get...
