Dazzling Hotel and Resorts — Hotel in Agra

I recently booked an engagement event at Dazzling hotel and resort, and unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing. From start to finish, there were numerous issues that made the event much less enjoyable than it could have been.

The booking process was difficult and frustrating, with the staff member seeming disinterested and not providing clear information. When we arrived at the hotel on the day of the event, we were disappointed to find that the room we had booked was much smaller and less impressive than it had looked in photos. The decorations were not what we had discussed with the staff member, and the table settings were not properly arranged.

To make matters worse, the air conditioning in the banquet room was not working, making it extremely uncomfortable to stay in. We had expected the hotel to have a functioning air conditioning system, especially for an event that was taking place in the summer months.

Additionally, the buffet did not have enough food to feed all of the guests at the event. We had to keep asking for more food, and the portions were much smaller than we had expected.

Throughout the event, we also encountered issues with the service. Our server was not attentive and did not check on us often enough. We had to flag them down multiple times to request drinks or ask for something to be cleared from the table. When it came time to settle the bill, we were shocked to find that there were additional charges that had not been discussed with us beforehand. When we tried to discuss the charges with the staff member, they were dismissive and unhelpful.

Overall, our engagement event at [hotel name] was a complete disaster. The malfunctioning air conditioning, the lack of food at the buffet, and poor service all made for an unpleasant experience. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and we would caution against booking events or special...

Pros: The check-in experience was pleasant. The room was fine for two nights. There are several nice food spots nearby. There was hot water (most of the time). Breakfast was not unpleasant.

Cons: There is a club in the hotel and we could hear the music loud and clear even 2 floors down, from around 21-1. It was intense enough to shake the room for several hours. Fine if you are in Agra to party, but not ideal if you want to wake up at 5 to get an early start to your day. I saw the guests in one of the rooms get frustrated enough to leave for a different hotel in the middle of the night. A group of 5-10 people started yelling and running around the hallway starting at 4 AM and it went on for more than an hour. As people were yelling and screaming, we got worried enough to eventually call the police, who showed up with the staff. The staff apologized, but the yelling and running continued nevertheless. At 9 AM after we checked out, we asked them to order us a taxi to the train station. Since the station was an hour away, we wanted the taxi to be there early. They kept promising the taxi will be here in 5 minutes for more than half an hour, we were lucky to catch our train on time. The bed felt dirty and there were blood stains on our pillowcase. Heads-up: The WiFi was down most of the time. And you get relatively bad cell reception in the rooms.

We were a group of 16 foreign travelers who stayed at this hotel in January 2025, and our experience was exceptional. As the final stop of our 7-night trip, this hotel stood out as the favorite for the entire group, leaving a lasting impression. The hotel clearly knew how to cater to foreign tourists and exceeded our expectations in many ways.

The staff were incredibly service-oriented and went out of their way to ensure our needs were met. The food was delicious, hygienic, and always served on time. A highlight of our stay was the private DJ session during dinner, which turned into a fun-filled evening of music and dancing. The entire team thoroughly enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere while dining, making it a memorable experience.

The hotel’s location, right next to the main road and close to the Taj Mahal, was highly convenient. One of the standout features was the restaurant, which had a lively club/bar vibe that everyone in the group loved. It added an exciting energy to our stay, making the hotel feel both modern and inviting.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and equipped with cozy mattresses, ensuring a restful night after our long journey.
