ITC Mughal, Maikhana - The Lobby Bar — Restaurant in Agra

The buffet restaurant was average at best and food was not much to choose from- most of it was more just limited to local tastes.

Most of the food I found to be not edible and service was below average. Waitstaff was not attentive, however I did notice they were attentive to certain tables. The chef would lay out napkins on the chair tops for specific guests and would offer them naan as we sat there we were pretty much completely ignored as our water bottle and glasses were empty. I even laid the bottle down on the table like spin the bottle to make it obvious it was empty with slow reaction.

Fancy-smanchy restaurant Peshwari, ITC Mughal Hotel. Great food and ambience.

We almost went crazy ordering almost everything. One we were hungry plus reading the menu the food description looks so damn good‼️

We eventually ordered the prawns, tandoori, lamb and variety of naans. The waiters were super attentive. We must have over done the licking our fingers since the Chef came out to say HELLO (hahahaha!!). Too busy eating forgot to snap a photo for memories😆

It's a wonderfully old property of the 70's and I remember coming here in the 80's and staying at the Mughal Sheraton in its Grandeur and Majesty. Today I was a bit disappointed as the upkeep is not as it's original Welcome Group. Lawns are not maintained, the poolside didn't look cleanly maintained and the lobby too was a bit too shabby for my taste. The hanging lights on top of the reception area needs cleaning. But all the same the staff service is still up to the mark and the splendour of the place still remains. Hopefully this feedback brings back it's charm like my...
