There is a chance that if you’ve booked a stay here through an Indian tourist information centre, that you were manipulated to do so after taking a taxi ride at Delhi airport while in a state of jet lag.

Your taxi driver may have asked you to call your hotel for the correct address, from which point he actually entered a different number on his phone so that you were actually talking to his accomplice - NOT the actual hotel management you originally booked with. While inside the taxi, the person on the phone then suggests you go into the city centre (Connaught Place) to find a hotel that’s “safer”, in the city, and away from protests, etc. (they will come up with all sorts of reasons). In your state of jet lag, you’re then brought to the tourist information centre, from which point they sell you an overpriced tour package. You’re exhausted and your mind is not right… you just want some sleep.

We stayed here as part of our group tour , The hotel appeared structurally well appointed . Everything stopped there . The lift to the rooms was filthy with dirty stained glass and food stains dripped down the lift shaft visible from the lift . Out room looked initially pleasant and the sheets were clean . We had to ask for towels . They were old and gray and felt as though they were not properly washed . We requested the bathroom was re cleaned around the toilet area . It was simply disgusting . A sweet young teen arrived and washed the essential area . It wasn’t his fault the dirt particularly in the bathroom is ingrained. The toilet and shower hose was revolting the need changing . The whole hotel needs closing down and given a deep clean . |There was a party on the same floor as us who’s went on till the small hours with screaming and shouting .
