LNB RESIDENCY — Hotel in Andhra Pradesh

Horrible and Worst Expertise and Terrible Stay.

Please Don't be fooled and book this hotel by it's rating, it's completely fake rating.

Giving 1 star, as 0 isn't an option.

Please see my experience below- We had booked 2 deluxe rooms(202 and 203) from 17 May 2022 to 19 May 2022 after seeing good rating. I stayed with my 2months old kid with my in laws and my wife. During my stay, I have been served terrible service. The Room-203 which was allotted to me. there are multiple issues I have faced as mentioned below- Service telephone was out of service. Bathroom's door lock was not working. No room service facilities were available for tea, food and room cleaning. I had to pull the person with me after calling multiple times for service Basic drinking water was not given. all the above negligent hospitality service I can ignore but during checked out the false allegations was given by duty manager mentioned that completely unacceptable. I was not allowed to checked out as per them given water glass is missing from the room and I have to pay the glass amount. I was completely helpless that time to prove that no glass was given during check-in. My situation was like I was holding my 2 months old kid with luggage and my in-laws who are 75 yrs old. and my airport cab was reached. and The management and staff are absolutely insane and inhuman, was continuously arguing. when I said to call the police to look this matter then front desk people was agreed to settle the bills and allowed us to leave. it was a nightmare for me and ruined my trip experience. I wish I could sue them for misbehavior / misconduct and mental harassment by the hotel staff but my time was constraints. I just finished my Trip to Tirupati after choosing LNB to stay. One piece of advice to all those who wants to choose this place. Do not book this hotel online. Even if you book, enquire the rules before boarding. I booked a single room with double bed for 3 people because there was no reason for me to book extra room only for one person. I calerly mentioned my requirements on their website to either arrange for an additional bed or to book a room with triple bed. When I reached the hotel, the staff surprised me saying that they have booked 2 rooms since the third person was not a child despite the triple bed room was empty. Somehow the triple bed room cannot be booked online, may be a trick. I argued with the staff on duty but failed to convince because it was online booking and he said he was not authorized to take decisions. I ended up paying whatever he charged since I was already tired of traveling. Later I explained my situation to the manager but he tried to match the price instead of refunding, he surprised me once again by saying that they have charged extra just for exchanging the room from double to triple bed which was not necessary if they had read my request prior to booking 2 rooms. He also said that the booking is for 24 hrs stay only, no option to charge only for those extra hours of stay. The pricing is fixed and negotiation was impossible. The hotel next to it is good for eating only the first day. The menu, taste is same every single day. During one of my Tirupati visit I had dinner at L&B, since then this place was in my mind. This time when I visited, I booked this hotel. We reached early around 8 am and their normal check in time is 12. Hotel was full due to rush in Tirupati, I witnessed many people walking in asking for rooms and going away as room was not available. Nevertheless, I waited around an hour and room was allotted with a nominal charge. The moment I entered room, I felt good. Rooms have been designed very well and give a nice feeling. Rooms are clean, I took a 3 bedded room, which was spacious enough. It had a table for office work and a chair, along with a couple of sofas and a table to eat. Bathroom shower etc. were also good. Soap Shampoo and I guess lotion was given, towels, bedsheets everything was clean. I was surprised they also give two water bottle complimentary additional water bottles can be purchased @20 each. Restaurant was closed and room service was delivered from one of their different outlet that's why it was little slow. Location of the hotel is hardly 100-200 mtrs from the railway station (opposite Vishnu Niwasam). I guess they will be restarting their restaurant from 01 May 2022 and then one does not have to worry about food at all. Mr. Balan and room service guy Ishwar were nice. One more thing they provide free WIFI which is actually very good. Speed is good enough that you can even do your office work (just in case). All in all a good...
