We booked through Treebo.||||There are a few positives:||1) Seems to be a new hotel, good location, but a very small one||2) Reasonably well maintained, but you have to ask for everything from shampoo, towels etc., water bottles (just one 500ml small water bottles for the entire duration per room). RO water is available on request else you have to buy water bottles.||3) Food available in a restaurant below, good food, but be careful about prices. Very good room service available from restaurant (Extremely cordial restaurant staff) ||4) Room size is good.||||A few negatives:||1) One big problem, there is no elevator/lift, very difficult for senior citizens and people with health issues, difficult to climb up with heavy luggage (in a three star hotel)||2) No coffee/tea maker, or tea bags available in the room||3) One soap bar and one towel were given initially. Rest you have to ask for.||4) Not much of parking space.||5) The problem is the food part. Though the hotel has a restaurant and provides room service (10% service charge) but one should be careful about prices. The prices in the menu card in the room are not updated and also they sometimes make mistake with the item name. You may have taken a dish with certain name but in the bill you may find a different name and a price. So, the safe thing would be to get a separate bill for each meal to keep track of things, otherwise you may end up paying more. Also, there are not many places to eat nearby.||6) You have to make cash payment for food||7) Complimentary breakfast was good but limited (fixed menu and fixed quantity).||||This days we see reviews before booking a hotel. But, not sure how much these reviews are trustworthy!!!! It is better to take suggestion from a local person (if available) before booking. Please call up the hotel and clarify things which are of...
Read moreI think I've never stayed in such a poor hospitality hotel which lacks minimum authenticity. Reached at afternoon only to find that the rooms are not ready. 2 rooms 4 people and a pet. Though I booked from booking.com but they denied that booking and asked me to cancel the booking since we had a pet. I paid extra Ra 1000 each for both the rooms. There was no water in the rooms to start with. One room's AC won't work. There was no stealth parking. The receptionist Raja won't keep upto his words and his boss some renu madam she is a big mouth. They would bill you first and then assign you the rooms. The rooms are dirty and the neighbors are noisy and smokes with the doors open. There is an empty flask in the room without any tea or coffee or sugar. They won't provide slippers either. The guy who cleans the toilet would hand you the fresh towel and get you the water bottles. There is no dental kit even though I paid around Rs 2600 for each room. Renu madam, the boss said breakfast will be ready sharp at 8:30 am and till 9 am the whole hotel staff is asleep. When asked then Raja who was sleeping in the reception would roam around in the dirty clothes thinking how to serve the breakfast. Atleast we got only poori sabji in the name of free breakfast. Renu madam the boss never picks up her phone as she is 'busy'. The reception is at the 2nd floor and without any lift. Carry your luggage to check in or out. This is a fake hotel....
Read moreAtrocious and horrendous would be the only "respectful" words I could say about this hotel. Starting from dirty mats to cancellation of food orders after 2 hours of ordering. The power went off at night and they didn't even have a functioning generator. There was no water since midnight till the time I checked out. I had to wake up the hotel guys at 9 am in the morning to tell them to switch on the water motor which I guess they didn't as there was no water even after that. I couldn't use the bathroom because of that. I was suffocated in a room with no electricity and mosquitoes biting me all over. When I confronted the manager regarding the power outage and water not running in the taps. His only reply was literally "Hmm". There was not even a sense of remorse or a note of aplogogy from their side. The guys at the reception were very casual and non responsive. They prefer sleeping rather than tending to the issues. We were literally helpless the entire night and early morning. No outside food is allowed but they can't even serve food on tjme and tenders no apology while cancelling the orders. There was complimentary breakfast which was Alu parantha which would be best described as cardboard laden with potato bits here and there. This hotel needs to be blacklisted by Oyo in order to save their...
