Olive Hotel Hebbal by Embassy Group — Hotel in Bengaluru

Location: Located on the busy Outer ring road near manyata tech park, hotel has ample parking spaces, basement parking and electric charger for EVs. Hotel also has easy entry and exit points to the main road; not needing long reroutes.

Rooms: The room I got was facing the busy road. Worth the money easily. Clean big rooms with modern utilities. The room also includes cutlery which was an added touch. Bed was not overly bouncy typical to 3star hotels which was a good thing for us.

Service: Would rate 3/5. First time room service coffee was hot but 2nd time coffee and sandwich was brought cold and not covered.

Ground floor has venkatam cafe. They serve excellent butter masala dosa, mirchi bajji and huge sambar vada. Their button sambar idli is also great.

I was staying at another hotel and found it not worth the money so I was looking for rooms elsewhere Initially I was skeptical after reading reviews so I booked on booking dot com and went for a quick inspection to check the room before confirming my room. They have taken feedback on the cleanliness, bedsheets, bath mats, towels and room service. I was thoroughly impressed.

I am a frequent traveller, have made my stay in all kind of star rated hotels. Generally, i pay full amount of lodging at the time of booking itself. Last month, my stay was in Olive hebbal Bangaluru. It was my worst experience here. Washroom was with no amenities, whereas at time of booking and in room details given in site, it was clearly told, there will complete set of toiletries. But after check in, toilet was incomplete, without a light and toiletries. From 2nd day, geyser and a.c stopped working, when asked, answer came, under repair, even at night. No one will come up for any service requested.Most cheap action came up at the time of checkout. I paid excess amount of approx 3-4 k which had to be refunded by the hotel as i cancelled a double occupancy room.They assured, amount will be refunded at the time of checkout. Its going to be a month since then, my money has yet not been refunded, though i keep calling them every alternate day, and they promise, money will be refunded in next 48 hrs. I have no idea, how many 48 hrs have passed and how many more 48hrs, i have to wait. Extremely Disappointing and Unhygienic Stay

I stayed at this hotel with my husband and child for 5 days, and it was a very unpleasant experience. The room was unhygienic—tap water was not clean, which caused a skin allergy on my face and rashes on my son. The air conditioner wasn’t cooling properly, and when we reported it, the staff simply said “It will happen” and walked away. We requested a room change, but were told the hotel was fully booked, with no effort to help.

The bedsheet and blanket were dirty and sticky, and when we asked for clean white ones, they said all their sheets had stains. They never cleaned the room unless we reminded them, and even then it was poorly done. Dirty dishes were left in the room and not removed unless we specifically asked.

No fresh towels were provided during cleaning, and the staff just refolded the same used bedding. The Wi-Fi constantly disconnected, and the TV needed staff to fix it repeatedly. Their attitude was unprofessional, and instead of accepting responsibility, they gave excuses.
