Ok, this was my first time visiting this establishment and the first thing I felt upon arrival is that no amount of interior decoration makes up for the broken road right in front of the hotel, being such an established chain they definitely have a say on improving the quality of the neighborhood.
The restaurant is in the terrace of the courtyard Marriott and once you step inside the hotel, the over decoration definitely worth appreciating.
Once I entered the restaurant I was pleased with the ambience, ample space, open and breezy, mildly lit with well placed lights that are just right.
The music was electric and progressive however as the night progressed we were kinda bored with the similar beats with occasional drop of the beats during track interchange. At one time I wondered if the dj forgot to sacrifice the kitten to the gods of electro.
We tried out the food ranging from various veg items and ended the meal with assorted indian breads and biryani. The taste is surely above average however nothing special to write back home about, except khumb galouti, which is a minced/mashed mushroom patty with hint of mustard oil wrapped in a small indian bread.
Coming to the drinks we were all pretty satisfied with what we ordered, from either side of the menu. I personally felt espresso martini was a perfect drink for those who have a thing for alcohol and coffee and they pretty much nailed the recipe.
Service was a bit slow and at one time I had to remind them once more to finally get the drink I ordered, however we have already read the reviews on that so it was kinda expected. Nevertheless we felt the server were polite, coporative and helpful all the way and they deserve the mention for that.
Though I personally didn't visit I was informed both washrooms were well maintained and that's a key point in my book to any place I visit, and that gets a mention.
Though I have already mentioned it partly I would like to add that being a open space visitor must expect a few bugs on the open area, and if you are visiting on an winter evening be sure to bring a jacket as they are yet to figure out a heating arrangement for the area.
So, overall I'm satisfied with the visit, and surely look forward to...
Read moreWe had such a bad experience at Nazara. We had booked a table for 8 at 11am to be seated outside. The seat was confirmed at 5:30 pm. Suddenly they call us at 7:55 and inform us that there are no seat available outside. The whole experience of this restaurant is seating outside and having dinner. When we went there no one respond and no one even was at the front desk. we had some arguments with Manager Raju. He mentioned that our seats were given to some corporate customers. We had already travelled one hour and half just to experience of seating outside and having dinner. We didn't want to drive again so decided to sit inside. So we ordered our starters and drinks. Funny is the waiters do not refill the water, looks like some cost cutting. Suddenly out of no where lizard pops up on the table. We go to these big and expensive restaurants just to be assured that cleanliness and hygiene is maintained..when I spoke to the manager there he said it's not in our control.if can get some good pest control and clean the place than this could be avoided. I was with my friends so didn't want to create a scene. Finally some other Manager intervene and asked us not to pay the bill. We go to big restaurants believing that seating, food, cleanliness and hygiene is taken care of. Please avoid this restaurant it’s just a hipe. No customer service neither cleanliness now hygiene. There r better restaurants than this which have outer...
