The Grand Krishna Rooms — Hotel in Bengaluru

Last week I stayed here with my Dad for a couple of nights. The hotel's location is pretty good and in the center of Madiwala. It is close to Total Mall and Madiwala bus stop. They have a self-service restaurant (for breakfast, lunch and dinner) and a dine-in restuarant (for lunch and dinner) as well right below their building. This is very comfortable as you needn't walk around much for the same. I had been to this hotel before as well and always stayed in the main building where they have the reception and this seems pretty safe and I didn't face any issues with robbery like many others mentioned. But yes, the other rooms outside this building are close to the boundary and hence you need to be more careful. Rooms are pretty spacious and comfortable. The staff at the reception was good. ||||Moving on to the cons, the A/C makes a lot of unit noise. We were in the third floor and I am not sure if this is the case with all the floors or just ours. The rooms are not clean and was dusty. The linens in our rooms were dirty with stains. The pillow cases were dirty as well and I think they hardly clean it. Bathroom again was very old and not clean. All the 3 times I stayed here in 3 different rooms, this was the case with bathroom of all the rooms. So I guess the maintenance is very poor and hence the outcome. The place is a little too overpriced for this reason.||||Overall if location is your concern, go for this. But make sure you choose a higher floor room in the main building just to stay safe. Had been to this hotel in March 2007 with friends but this time wit family. I must say it has maintained itself well. In fact much better than d other hotels in d vicinity. The entrance though is not too charming but as u enter d lobby n d reception area u realise tat u hv been transported out of d hustle n bustle of Bangalore city. Each n every room is different n well done. ||I believe it's their specialty that in every room above d sleeping area they hv these neon stars n planets stuck on d ceiling wich lights up as u switch off d room lights. Parking: Around 10 cars can be parked or more. It is really good Rooms: for the price they are good Bathroom: clean and neat Driver room is also available for rupees 100 Overall I am satisfied If you don't want to spend on three bed, you can take 2 bed room and ask for an extrabed on the floor. We have taken a standard room for two members with extrabed and driver room. Total it was 2000 for 24hours. Best thing here is it's for 24hrs like if you checking at 6 am in the morning you can stay for the next 24 hrs. If it is at 3 pm you can stay till 3pm next day. In most of the hotels it is like timings are fixed 12 pm afternoon to 12 pm afternoon next day. Even if you check in at 6 pm you have to vacate at 12 pm next day. It is not the same with krishna rooms. You can checkin at any time and you can be in the room for the next 24 hours.
