Savoury is a decent and recommended restaurant located in the heart of Madiwala. The hygiene and cleanliness of the place are commendable, with a neat and tidy environment that stands out. However, the service is just okay and not up to the mark, especially considering the pricing, which is on the higher side compared to other restaurants in the area. One disappointing aspect was their failure to serve water, which is basic restaurant etiquette. While a paid bottle of water was placed on the table, they didn’t provide complimentary water, something I believe every restaurant should do. Charging for bottled water isn't the issue, but offering free water to customers should be a bare minimum. The menu, printed on a black background, was surprisingly difficult to read due to the reflection of light, which made the experience a bit frustrating. It’s a small but significant detail that the restaurant could improve, as menus should be easily readable in any lighting. As for the food, it was quite tasty, with the chicken shawai being a highlight, especially the well-cooked and fresh chicken. However, I didn’t particularly enjoy the way it was spread over the kuboos. Despite the quality of the food, I felt the pricing wasn’t entirely justified, as it's a bit steep compared to other places in Madiwala. There is also a self-order machine available specifically for chicken shawai, which is a convenient touch for those looking to order quickly. Overall, Savoury didn’t disappoint, but it also didn’t fully impress. It's still one of the better restaurants, especially for those traveling through the highway, but there are areas for improvement in both service and pricing, as well as the small details like the menu design.

If you can bear the bad food you wont notice about the pathetic service. Absolute waste of money. We went for an afternoon meal and was served with chilled fish curry and aviyal straight out from the fridge along with savala dipped in vinegar (sure its to make to the count of items and for what!!? ) We ordered for a Kerala meals with Fish fry(priced at 180). Funny thing is you wont get a piece of fish unless you ask them. P.S the fish we got half of the meat is missing probably they must had served that for someone else. And about the taste , Looks like these guys doesn’t like to serve with right uppum mulakum or may be they dont want us to have it in the right proportion otherwise we will come back for the good taste and clearly they dont want us coming back. Talking about service , If you ask for sambar you might get it once your rice is finished (drink it like rasam) and if you ask for rasam you will get once you have washed off your hands. Restroom was another highlight for such a class hotel chain, it was totally the worst and unhygienic. I used to hate the morucury and rice I get from my PG in afternoons. I thought it was the worst. I was wrong , this one is the worst food that I ever had.

⛔Savoury tea counter⛔ I wanted to share my recent experience with the food from the Savoury tea counter, as I believe it’s important for customer health and satisfaction. I picked up a parcel today (01/02/2025) just before boarding the bus, and unfortunately, after only a few minutes into my trip, I discovered that the food had a spoiled taste. This is definitely concerning, especially since many passengers rely on these meals to avoid going hungry during their journey. It would be great if you could address this issue by ensuring that food items are checked regularly for freshness. It might also be helpful to provide some training for the staff at the counter so they can better differentiate between good and spoiled items. I appreciate your attention to this matter and hope it helps prevent any future health issues for passengers like myself.

An Utterly Disappointing Experience at Savoury - Kerala Kitchen Madiwala My recent visit to Savoury - Kerala Kitchen Madiwala today at 2:00 PM was unfortunately marked by a significant lack of service. Upon entering, I selected a table and settled in, anticipating a pleasant experience. Despite the presence of numerous waiters and supervisors who frequently passed by and even glanced me and in my direction, not a single individual approached to offer a menu or inquire about my order. I patiently waited, making eye contact and subtly trying to signal for attention, hoping that someone would eventually turn their focus to my table. However, the staff appeared preoccupied with observing other patrons, seemingly disinclined to engage with new arrivals. It wasn't an issue of understaffing; rather, it felt as though their roles were more akin to passive observers than active servers. After waiting until 2:18 PM, feeling increasingly overlooked and with no interaction from the staff, I decided to leave. Even as I exited, the indifference persisted; no one acknowledged my departure or seemed to register my presence at all. The entire experience left me with a distinct sense of neglect and...
