OYO Hotel Arera Inn — Hotel in Bhopal

Terrible experience with this OYO property. I booked a room through the OYO app for 8 days, prepaid the full amount, and expected a smooth stay. But when I arrived at the hotel around 8 PM with my companion, the owner refused to honor the booking, claiming the rooms were “full” even though I could see that rooms were available. Instead, he demanded I pay double the OYO rate if I wanted to stay. Room's condition were so horrible and smelly. He even said, “if it’s just for 2-3 hours, I can think to gave,” which was incredibly disrespectful and inappropriate, especially in front of my female companion.

After a long day on the road with luggage and no alternative at that hour, we were left standing on the street for over an hour while OYO customer service tried to resolve the issue. Finally, OYO arranged another hotel, but the entire experience was stressful, humiliating, and unnecessary. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone—it's unprofessional, and the owner’s behavior was unacceptable.

Booked through oyo and first the location is different and then property manager didn't picked up phone. You can imagine my condition I were with my 2 year kid in extreme cold conditions at 10 pm and searching for this hotel in taxi from here to there only because I have paid over Oyo and hotel manager didn't picked up phone. After 30 mins of search I booked 2nd hotel on oyo which refused my check-in citing low booking amount and the worst thing was OYO helpline also didn't picked up phone.
