Oyo claims this hotel has parking facility whereas they don't. I clarified with Oyo customer care and disappointed when I reached there. Finally I had to park it in a nearby paid parking. Parking cost even though it is less, you have to walk all the way to parking facility to get to the car which I personally don't like it. I tried to reach oyo captain but I couldn't. Before even entering the room, hotel person urged me to do the payment. I don't like it. I told them, I would do the payment after lunch as I drove for 3 hours and it was around 3:30 pm. Yet they resisted. Since it was a family trip( wife and 2 yr kid), I didn't want to book and move to another room which would delay our lunch. Geycer didn't work. I was not told when I asked in first day and they have all reasons to wonder as if they came to know the problem only then. I had to follow it up with reception people for hot water. Even though, they bring what u ask for, it comes with a great delay. Multiple times, u had to follow in phones to get that. Breakfast even though it is complimentary, you won't get what you ask for. They say it is buffet type, cannot service in room and don't expect anything more. It was poha and roti, poha and poori on 2 days I stayed. Anything other than that you ask for will be charged. Even bread toast. The disappointment was more as I clarified with Oyo customer care for parking, geycer facilities and made booking through them after Oyo clarified that all facilities are available. I called Oyo customer care to report the issue and ask why I was told that facilities I asked for was available. The reply is splendid, "Sorry for the inconvenience, Can I look for another booking nearby?". Since people individually can not verify each hotels and it's facilities, Oyo came into picture but it is useless in this case. Moreover hotel persons are like, "Go to another hotel if you wish. I would say that their service is pretty average. I stayed here for 2 nights, and had booked a classic 2X room for 3 people through OYO. The rooms were not at all big enough for three people. You would hardly get the floor space to lay the extra mattress. And I asked for the extra mattress at 6 pm, they provided it at 11pm after reminding thrice. They provide a hall on the first floor for parties and play music too loud for a peaceful stay. If they hold a party be assured of delayed service. I only had breakfast at the hotel and food quality was pretty good. They do not have any balcony and the windows will provide an excellent view of a garbage dump. Half of the lights in the room do not have a switch because the receptionist said that people do not require a light in that location, LOL! Location of the hotel is good. There are several vegetarian restaurants nearby, besides the famous DB mall. They do not provide any city...

I guess Hotels in MP Nagar are all competing among themselves and not with standards. They lack the service levels of a hotel, and customers are treated like they are going to a railway station side lodge to freshen up. The concept of B&B and services associated are still to pick up in this part of city. And same goes for this hotel which is cheap in price as well as the services it provides. One should always prefer hotels near ISBT which are cheap but fresher. Hotel gaurav palace needs to improve a lot to match many of the competitors nearby.
