Hotel Kumud Plaza — Hotel in Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation

Hotel Kumud Plaza which I selected after lot of research and finally my time and efforts paid off as I got this master piece in terms of hospitality. I really enjoyed being a part of it although for only one night due to my commitments with other activities pre-planned already, but even in that time stamp I was delighted to stay here. First of all location is very good approx. only 200-300 mts from Bhubaneswar railway station which makes this hotel a great entity and feasible option of stay. Secondly, it nears to the commercial space nearby and shopping spree. I personally being an avid traveler like to opt for locations of same I nd where you can explore local culture and traditions. I came along here with my wife and son by 5 at evening after a hefty day altogether. This hotel has a cosy infrastructure and amenities which includes AC, Free Wifi and other useful things. We normally like to explore local cuisine if we visit any new venture and we did the same here by hanging around local area and bingo, we enjoyed our evening very pleasantly, my family was very happy. We had our dinner by scooping around food joints nearby and had lot of shopping in near by market I believe in Janpath road known as Ashok Market. I recommend all the souls who prefer hotel with better services and well connectivity and if anyone want to catch train he/she can catch in 10 mins max and airport connectivity is also good. I recently stayed at Hotel Kumud Plaza in Bhubaneswar and overall, it was a decent experience. The hotel is notably clean, and its proximity to the railway station is very convenient for travelers. The staff members were commendable in their service, displaying politeness and efficiency.

One of the highlights was the affordability of the food, coupled with its good quality. However, it's worth noting that there's no mat near the bed, with only one provided near the bathroom. The beds, while suitable for two people, might be a bit cramped if you're traveling with a baby.

During check-in, I found it a bit surprising that only two water bottles were provided. It would be more convenient if there were daily supplies of water or tea. Additionally, the provision of just one towel per day could be improved; ideally, it should be one per person for a more comfortable stay.

In summary, Hotel Kumud Plaza is a reasonably priced option with a few minor areas for improvement. If you prioritize cleanliness, affordability, and proximity to the railway station, it could be a suitable choice for your stay in...

We made an excellent decision by choosing this hotel. The hotel is barely 5 min walk from Bhubaneswar railway station. We walked to it at midnight (although a very small section of the road in front of railway station had no lights and was a bit scary at midnight) with our luggage and had no issues reaching there. Hotel rooms, bathroom were very clean. We stayed for 3 nights and cleaning was done every day. Linens and towels were changed every day. A/C, TV were fully functional. They have a restaurant at top which is very reasonably priced and offers decent food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had breakfast and dinner all days here. They also have a water filer to provide drinking water at no additional cost.|We took OTDC conducted tours for 2 days and their pickup / drop point is barely 200m away from the hotel. The nearby MoBus bus stand at railway station provides easy access for local transport at cheap rates without the need for auto.|Overall, we were very happy and will recommend this hotel...
