Arya Palace — Hotel in Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation

The hilarious tricks the hotel tries to pull for extracting extra money from customer. I booked a room in this hotel for 2 adults. At the time of check in first I gave ID card of one adult and they asked me for the other ID card as the room is booked for 2 adults. But right after we reach the alloted room, we receive a call that the room is booked for only one adult. I went to the reception to check about it as in the receipt i received from MakeMyTrip clearly stated that the room is booked for 2 adults. They showed me the receipt of another time when I stayed at that place and I booked it for one adult. First I missed the date in the receipt they showed me, thinking they received wrong details from MakeMyTrip, but when I called MakeMyTrip helpline and they confirmed with the hotel and I verified the date I got to know the mess up. When I went to the reception to confront them they didn't even respond to my any of my words and after few minutes another person is saying that yes the booking is correct. Unclean rooms, stained bed sheets, dirty furniture greeted us when we got into the a/c standard room. You are charging 2600/ for a single night, at least provide SOME services!

Even the window panes had years worth of dirt accumulated that has never been cleaned. The AC vent doesn't close on its own, you have to manually push it up! The pillow covers had clear stain marks and the comforter had small bugs all over!

The chair was unclean and had big chunks of dirt mark on them. We got a stinky smell the moment we got the door opened. The door knob was broken as well.

The service boy was busy on his phone while we were checking out and didn't even bother to help a lady guest, a little bit lifting her suitcase! He had to be reminded of his job! Highly unprofessional.

Worst Hotel Stay Ever – Do Not Recommend!

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. The rooms were disgustingly untidy – from the washroom to the cupboards, nothing was clean or properly maintained. To make matters worse, the air conditioning didn’t work, leaving us uncomfortable throughout the stay.

The hotel assigned us a room directly facing a noisy construction site, which ruined any chance of peace or relaxation. Despite charging us an exorbitant amount, they didn’t provide even the basic amenities you’d expect at such a price. The constant noise and dust from the construction were unbearable.

We complained several times to the staff about the issues, but they were completely indifferent and offered no solution. It’s shocking how poorly they treat their guests, showing no regard for customer satisfaction or comfort.

I strongly advise avoiding this hotel at all costs. Save your money and your sanity – there are far better options elsewhere. This place does not deserve anyone's time or...
