Hotel Review: Worst Experience Ever!
I recently had the most disappointing experience at this hotel, and I strongly advise others to avoid it. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the management lacks basic customer service skills and has no regard for guest comfort.
First and foremost, the hotel does not allow check-in after 10 PM, which is extremely inconvenient for travelers. I arrived a little past this time due to an unavoidable delay in my journey, expecting at least some flexibility or understanding from the staff. However, to my shock, they outright refused to let me check in, despite my confirmed booking. There was no willingness to assist or accommodate the situation in any way. Instead, I was met with rude and unprofessional behavior from the staff, who showed no empathy or concern for my situation.
Not only was I denied check-in, but I was not even allowed to wait in the lobby. This was beyond frustrating, as I was left stranded outside with my luggage, not knowing where to go in the middle of the night. The staff spoke rudely, showing no respect for customers. It was as if they were doing me a favor by even acknowledging my presence. Their tone was dismissive, and they had no interest in helping me find an alternative solution.
A hotel should be a place of comfort and hospitality, but this place lacks both. It felt more like a strict, unfriendly institution rather than a welcoming place for guests. The entire experience was humiliating and stressful. I have stayed in numerous hotels before, but I have never come across such poor treatment. Even budget hotels show more courtesy and professionalism than this place.
What’s even worse is that the hotel did not provide any prior warning about this unreasonable check-in policy. If such a restriction exists, it should be clearly mentioned at the time of booking. Most travelers, especially those on business trips or arriving from different cities, cannot always control their arrival time. A good hotel understands this and accommodates its guests accordingly. However, this place operates with no regard for guest convenience.
I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. The lack of flexibility, rude behavior, and complete disregard for guest comfort make it one of the worst hotels I have ever encountered. If you value good service and basic hospitality, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. There are plenty of hotels that treat their guests with respect and provide better services.

Read moreI booked this hotel through OYO but when I showed up they told me the booking had been cancelled. Strange because I had received an email the day before confirming the reservation.
The staff was kind enough to honor the original price and get me a room but once I entered it I knew I couldn’t stay. The room was dirty, smelled of cigarettes, was full of mosquitoes, didn’t have any hot water, and the bed was as hard as the floor. Even the bottle of water they provided had been opened and Frankenstein from. I was most concerned with the bed and they offered me an extra blanket to soften it but said it cost 100 rupees a night.
I decided to leave and asked for a refund. Which they initially refused even though I had just paid. Eventually after haggling for too long the refunded everything expect one night’s stay.
ALWAYS ask to look at the room before you pay.

When i reached to the hotel ,the receptionist don't alloted me a room he say i can't allot a room for u . I give him the Xerox of invoice of ₹1263 which i paid to OYO . Receptionist said i only allot you for 1day because oyo give me only ₹697. Then after i call Oyo room customer care after 10min ₹1263 got reflected to hotel receptionist account. After that he alloted me the room . I personally suggest you if you are booking this hotel pls don't pay to oyo rooms . Please select option pay later and when you will reach to hotel pay him cash.
Location: it is nearer to new town and kolkata railway station.
I think this is the best and cheapest hostel near rajarhat...
