Sharma Snacks — Restaurant in Bidhannagar

Pure Cheater. Went to Sharma Teghoria on 5th Jan around 7:20 am. Ordered 2 small kesar tea, 1 plate of club kachori and 4 pcs of jalebi. When asked for the total amount the guy said Rs.140. I asked how, and he said 2 kesar tea for 50, 1 plate club kachori for 35, and Jalebi for Rs.10 per pc. Very confidently he said rates are mentioned in the rate chart. I showed him the total on the calculator on mobile which was 50+35+40=Rs.125. Then he said....u pay Rs.130, and the reason he gave since we take Gpay only after 8 am, so a lot of people don't have cash so said 130. I will give you 1pc kachori extra. I told him, Boss, 1st you never told me that it's a cash issue, secondly, you never told me in advance that you will not take Gpay thirdly you did not give me extra kachori. It's now when I am calculating the amount is coming to Rs.125 instead of Rs.140 which you quoted. He said... it's okay. You pay Rs.125 cash. Please be careful with the calculation, as the food is okay (not so good) type but the staffs are pure cheaters and spoiling the brand name...

The city has so many Sharma snacks..its hard to tell who is original, who is a knockoff and are they even related or not. It's similar to the Kareem's problem.

Anyways, this one isn't original for sure but they used to make a good kachori sabji. We used to frequent this place over the weekend or swiggy it but our last visit left us dissatisfied.

The quality has gone down drastically. Service wise they seem to be focusing on Swiggy Zomato orders more. The chai is still great. So don't miss that. But if you like hot fluffy kachoris with the quintessential hing wali alu sabji, then it maybe time to look for...

I am from north India and also familiar with the items available here.. all the food items are selective and good options to be taken in breakfast or evening snacks. But the price of some particular items does not match the quality. Lassi you get for Rs. 40 is not of that quality either in thickness or in taste. The tea in small cup you get for Rs. 10 which is easily available in any local bengali stalls for Rs. 4 or 5. Various Kachoris, sweets etc are awsome. And the sabji you get with them are so tasteful.. I like to go to the place often but for selected...
