I booked this hotel by reading the great reviews on Booking.com, assuming that I would be given a welcoming and cosy stay, but I was wrong. There are most of the things which I didn't like: Firstly, I got to know after reaching the location mentioned on booking.com that the location is somewhere 100-200 metres away from the one stated, and the hotel was not Green Park, but FabHotel 24x7. The place was located in an unhygienic and not-so-appealing location. I reserved a room via Booking.com, which allowed me to reserve the hotel and pay upon a visit. But when I tried to check in, the hotel receptionist Deepanshu rudely said he didn't know how the booking amount was so low (which was ₹890), so he demanded ₹1,000 or told me to cancel the booking. Since I didn't have any choice back them, I had to comply with the higher rate. While writing this feedback, I visited my booking.com profile and was surprised that the hotel had already cancelled my booking. This explains why he might have done a manual booking and cancelled my online booking to extort more money. After waiting for some time, I finally checked into my room only to find that the room keys along with the basic toiletries were missing. After pleading with them for a couple of hours, they handed me the keys, as well as bath soap, which I assumed would be provided to me. I strangely found piles of used clothes and garbage near the lift exit and on the passageway, ketchup drops spilt on the table, used towels kept in the wardrobe, no handwash in the kitchen, etc. I felt the unwelcoming vibe from the start itself, but this was getting out of hand. When staff brought me a bathing soap, he tried peeping into my room to get a glimpse of what was inside. It felt like there was some sort of pole dancing being organized in the room. During the night time, it became very cold in the room. I asked the receptionist to provide me some sort of heater, or the AC remote, but he declined any such request.
Please avoid booking this hotel or its alternative name - Hotel Green Park, if you can find...
Read moreHorrible place, poor hygiene, accross hotel and in rooms . Dirty hallways, foul smells, poor customer service. Cleaning is never done, clean towels and bedsheets are not replaced , AC is,automatically switched off from reception to limit use, throughout the day, and during the morning. Rooms, are cleaned and the rubbish is left in the hallways, including dirty condoms, cigarette butt's, and all kinds of foul-smelling rubbish. Very poor health and safety, and the government should send in an inspector to monitor. No receipts given for hotel renting , and the manager is unable to be found. The emergency service number does not work, and the reception staff are not helpful when you have a problem, and you are constantly ignored. I have asked for fresh towels for the last three days but have not received any clean towels or bed linen sheets. Worst hotel ever that I have stayed in Delhi. The only good thing is that the hotel is in walking distance to the famous Maliya market district and market and modern shopping areas that tourists love, especially e.g Starbucks coffee , Mehfil Taba, Dominos pizza, KFC, Haldirams, Himaliya heath store etc. It is a horrible place to bring a family. Hotel from hell. Double rooms are priced at 1200 rupees per night and are very small and contain broken , incompatible furniture. The beds have broken collapsed mattresses. The toilet pipe is leaking , and the walls are dirty and rough. House cleaning is really done in the hotel. THEY ARE QUICK TO TAKE YOUR MONEY, PROVIDE NO RECEIPTS AND OFFER ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND VALUE FOR MONEY....
