The hotel has many fake reviews, so be cautious. It is not recommended for families.
The hotel is located near the New Delhi Railway Station, in a very narrow lane.
Entrance: My expectations were dampened when I saw the entrance, as it was not clean. Definitely not suitable for a family. The receptionist was reasonably good, rated 4/5, but the other staff were subpar, scoring only 1/5. The hotel offered an Indian toilet by default, and upon request, I got a room with a Western toilet.
Rooms: The room was the dirtiest I have ever seen in a hotel. The bed sheets were not clean, and the landline phone was not functioning.
Breakfast/Food: In the morning, I ordered tea, which was served in a broken and dirty tea jar. The tea was made with powdered milk, not fresh milk. The taste was disgusting, so I did not attempt to order any food. I was also asked twice within 20 minutes to return the tea jar, with different excuses.
Washrooms: The washroom was the dirtiest I have ever seen in any hotel I have visited. This applies to both the Western toilet seat and the tap.
Outside the Room: The area outside the room was surrounded by garbage and the smell of cigarettes.
Checkout: I had paid the room booking fee online, and I expected a bill of Rs. 83 for the three teas I ordered, but I was presented with a bill of Rs. 450. It seems that someone else's order was included in my room's bill, or the bill was intentionally inflated. The person who brought the bill was adamant about me paying the Rs. 450, but the person who brought the tea said the bill was only Rs. 83. We paid the Rs. 83 bill in cash and left the hotel immediately, as we did not feel comfortable at all.
Overall, this hotel is not recommended at all. Do not rely on...

Overall, it is extremely disappointing and falls short of expectations on many levels.
Firstly, the hotel's location is quite bad as it is hidden in the back of an alley and the small sign board is hardly visible from the main road. Moreover, the noisy neighbors playing loud music added to the already unpleasant experience.
The customer service at the hotel was also disappointing, as the staff seemed disinterested in helping out in any way. They did not provide any assistance or offer any solutions to the issues faced during the stay.
The rooms themselves were equally unimpressive. Both rooms had a consistent bad smell with no room freshener or proper ventilation. The blankets were not replaced immediately before giving you the room, and small cockroaches were present in both rooms. There was also no hot water for showering, no bidet in the toilet, no shower gel or body gel, no towel, and no floor mat. The door locks and handles were broken, and the room shelves, chairs, and wardrobes were extremely dusty. The non-working TV set and dirty drinking glasses added to the discomfort of the stay.
In addition, the hotel had poorly maintained electrical reliability in the afternoon, which made the experience even worse.
Overall, I would not recommend Hotel Ratandeep International in Pharganj, New Delhi. The location, customer service, and room quality all fell short of expectations, making for an extremely...
Read moreIt is an absurdity that such a place has generally high ratings as my experience was so mind bogglingly poor. Let's talk beds, one normally wants their bed to be clean, dry, and with a scarcity of insect life. My bed here was the opposite of all those things respectively. Mouldy looking pillows, damp sheets, cockroaches in the room and bed bugs to top it all off. Above the bed is a rectangle square of painted purple with a beautiful electricity wire poking out of it. The ceiling fan gives the impression of an impending blending, I suggest you use your luggage for cover as the fan is likely to end someone's life before long, better not be yours eh? Then there is the large sheet of plywood that makes up one of the walls, made of the finest wood in the land I'm sure but it could use a lick of paint to say the least. Then the bathroom, if you like bunkers with flickering white lights with a rattly metal door then this will be perfect. Maybe my experience wouldn't have been so bad if not marred by the service charge I then had to pay on the way out. What was the service you might ask? Bed bug bites, a sore shoulder from the strange lump in the bed, (perhaps it was an organic mass? I did not dare to check) or the epilepsy risk from the bathroom lights (preferred to a swift execution from the dodgy fan).
Avoid this place, find somewhere better, life is too short and you're...
