This was our 15th anniversary plan so decided to book this resort. In MMT the price was 8k+ but in acron website it was 10k+, we called them and mentioned that since this would be our anniversary so if we get some special arrangements if booked through their website? The lady customer care executive confirmed that we would get a 30mints spa and a candlelight dinner as anniversary package. We were happy and agreed to spend some extra bucks so booked through acron website. We booked a sea facing room which from review we found the best to stay. With a lot of expectations we reached Goa. But everyday we regret about how we took a bad decision and how can a 4star ITC brand hotel be like this. Let me explain in brief... 1. Entering the hotel you get a welcome drink which is very average. 2. Breakfast is not upto the mark again very average. 3. Live music for only one evening. 4. You will get happy hour from 7pm - 8pm where you can enjoy beer, red rums, whisky and gin with fruit juice (all Indian brands) and no side dish. 5. When ordered one goan spicy prawn dish which they suggested, was tangy and overspicy. Felt like waste of money. 6. A jacuzzi and swimming pool with time restrictions like 8am - 7pm!!! Really... :/ 7. Security guard sitting arrangement was just infront of our balcony so we didn't have any privicay. 8. There were no candlelight dinner, just a simple buffet like others had, and the taste was average. We never felt we are in Goa which is a seacoast and Goa spices has its own name nd fame. 9. Spa was very average. 10. One room will get only 2lit of water per day then you have to pay. It was very frustrating when everynight we have to plead for some water jugs and they were not ready to serve it free. 11. You have to ask for the bathroom kit like OYO room service and then only you get a fresh one. 12. The so called beach view room is just for namesake ... The fact is one has to peep out from a corner making an angle towards the beach to get a tiny piece of sea view. 13. We hire a scooter from acron at rs 400 which on next day we hired at rs 350 for 24hrs from outside. Both excluding petrol charges. 14. The bathroom is very average not even felt that am availing a 4star resort. 15. The room is having very less space to walk around. 16. The WiFi connection is very slow compare to (Airtel) our own mobile network. Overall waste of money. I regret.

Really a worse experience. 4 star resort, so my expectations were quite high but they failed to even match a 2 star resort. I have booked for my 15th anniversary and for 3 nights they charged me 30k. That includes free breakfast and one candle light dinner at my anniversary night. Now coming one by one. First they have different categories of rooms, the room that I booked is sea facing which is their highest category and literally from the balcony you will get just a pool view with a security guard who is always staring at you and sea view is just for naming and bluffing the customers. I really don't know how they are using ITC group name. Bathrooms are average. I experienced mosquito bites inside the room at night. Next is food, thought they are offering a happy hour from 7 to 8 at evening but the liquor and beer are all poor man's brands. Taste of food were average thought they have some celebrity chef. Next is hospitality every day you will get four 500ml packages bottom water, on my first day I asked for more water so they told me I have to pay extra for drinking water, so I asked them to provide me with normal water. On second night I asked for water they said sir we can't provide you normal water as it is against their bloody policy but somehow I managed a one litre jug. On my last night when I asked for water they provide me extra three 500ml water bottles and asked the room service you will be charging for that, so the boy told me no sir you can asked for as many you want, I really don't know how to define their policies. And the last one facilities like pool, jacuzzi and spa will be closed by 7pm now that's funny. In one word it is not worthy like 10k everyday. Waste of money.

We booked four luxury rooms for our friends family reunion. It was a nice stay. Otherwise Morning breakfast is soooo good. Evening Happy hours is very enjoyable. Among the 4 rooms 3 rooms were so good. But they had inserted 1non luxury room among the four. The one room was very small. Not enough spacious for 2adults +2kids family. But they mentioned in their specifications that all rooms have bath tubs. But later they told us that every single room has different amenities. And the next day they changed the room on our request. But it was also not a luxury one, but a normal spacious has a small bathroom. Anyhow we spent our holidays. But it was very annoyed.. Not a pleasant one just because of the room issue. THIS IS REPLY TO THE MANAGEMENT'S REPLY:DATE: 27 DECEMBER 2019 WE BOOKED RIVER VIEW ROOMS. BOOKED ON June 1st to 4th of June 2019.. we stayed at River view rooms. If it is not so, how did the other three rooms bathtubs, a single sofa and spacious. Highly disappointed. The rooms allocated to us are 11,12and 14,15

I’m writing this review in specific account of extremely unprofessional and rude behaviour of Mr Joel D’Souza who is the sales manager of Acron resorts Goa. I planned my trip with them in 2019 with my friends and it was a memorable experience. So when I was aging planning my trip with 7 of my batchmates with whom I was meeting after 15 yrs, I immediately recommended them Acron waterfront resort at Baga beach. The trip was planned 3 months in advance and 50% of the payment was done for 4 rooms. So 1 was a penthouse with 3 rooms and they offered us another room on the same area (3+1 rooms for the 8 of us). 10 days prior our arrival I told Joel cancel for the 4th room as 2 friends will not be able to join. He said cancellation is not possible and you have to pay full amount. I said ok at least give us some other services like spa or dinner as this is the least which you should do for old clients. He said he will discuss and inform.

No call from his side so that’s okay we friend decided we will share the amount. On day of arrival which was 30th sept 2023, 2 of my friends reached in the morning. So this person Joel said I cannot give access to the room as you need to do full payment. My friend called me as I had just landed at 2pm to Goa from delhi. I called joel to at least give the access and we’ll pay by evening when all friends will reach. Just imagine us paying 3 months in advance the amount of 56000/- and still waiting since morning to get access to the room. Joel did not agree and my friends kept on waiting. Just imagine haveing a 9 hour journey in bus to reach the hotel, my friend has not even brushed and was made to wait. Now comes the even worst part.

When me and my other friend reached by 3:30pm, I asked for Joel at their front office. This person turned up and barged on me saying that ma’am we are giving you 4 rooms, in 2 different apartments and 2 rooms will be in each apartment. I said Joel my booking says I have a penthouse with 3 rooms as we are 6 people and why will we stay seperatley????

He had this audacity to be rude to me as my friends in front of the office, kept on arguing and spoiled all our mood. Imagine paying in advance and not even made comfortable on reaching their promises. Is the the service industry they work in?? Where they don’t know how to treat a customer??? Shame on their service. Joel never turned up after that was only available for 2 mins and then we were made to deal with 2 front office ladies till 8 pm at night. Just imagine our plight. It was an emotional harassment for all of us.

In the end we came to know the form our booking of the penthouse with 3 rooms they already had given 1 room to another guest and had taken money from him. And now they wanted to take out more money from us by not refunding out 4th room which anyways we were not using.

We called the police also as it was getting too much on us. Finally we were made to adjust by giving the penthouse with 2 remaining rooms and we two were made to use one different room in another area.

Spoiling our 1 day I will never recommend Acron waterfront. We feel so disappointed in their service of making money out of honest customers. I just hope the Acron top management should take a separate action with Joel so that never ever another customer should...

If you don't want your holiday to be spoiled, you have to double check if there is any tour group stay before you make a booking with them. Such an enquiry is a "MUST".

My husband and I stayed there for 3 nights. After the 1st night rexlaxing stay, I was considering to give this resort 5* in comments. We thought sevice provided by their friendly staff and quality of food in the restaurant was good. And we thought we made a good choice, and were very happy about this resort. However...the next day a tour group of over 30 people arrived. It turned into a disaster.

When we were having a candelelight dinner, the tour group members talked to each other loudly in front of our table. Actually, they were shouting from ground floor to the 1st floor balcony right in front of our table. There was no staff to stop them. Besides, the next morning the breakfast became a buffet. The a la cart tasty breakfast, which we loved, was replaced by an almost wholly Indian breakfast. And the indoor restaurant turned into a "kids center".

We just wanted to have a quiet and leisurely holiday, e.g. reading books near the pool, listening to birds, watching the fishermen on the shore. We did complain to the hotel manager there but obviously the tour group was their big boss at that moment. "Business is business"! There is no doubt that they ignored other customers' needs to accept a tour group reservation, making changes for them and letting them occupy the pool for a noisy poolside party. That's why I am writing my 1* comment about a noisy group's music pool party environment now! Their poolside party music was so loud for hours that even though the other side of the river could hear the noise. Even the staff said their music was noisy!!!

It is a small resort. And there is only 29 rooms with one small swimming pool in a small piece of land. There would be no problem if the tour group took over all rooms and occupied the whole resort. Or if the hotel told us in advance, that there would be a tour group in-house that may cause inconvenience, noise and their facilities would be closed due to the tour group before we made our booking.

If the management could make a balance between different groups of customers, everthing may be fine. But in this case, they poperly could not contol it. They just got 5* rating at Tripadviser. According to the management's service mentality, it seems they didn't deserve it at all. It was a management critical mistake, and it was...
