After reading the various reviews about Camilson’s beach resort on the Trip Advisor Website I was in a dilemma about reserving my stay at this place. I decided to take a risk and I am very happy that I did. Despite all the shortcomings which a resort can tend to have in India I should say that Camilson’s is still the best. India in general and Goa in particular cannot be compared to the West. A tourist should really not be counting the last cent in this part of the world where the economy is still underdeveloped.||Camilson’s has been endowed with immensed Idllyic beauty and the threshold of the restaurant is kissed by the silver sands of the Arabian Sea. The music of the birds and the melody of the waves do more than to relax and rejuvenate the heart and soul. The sun bathed beached is mellowed by the cool breeze. The facilities are upgraded and cleaned and maintained for the price paid. The staff is friendly and humble. The old faces are replaced by new helpful ones who make you feel welcomed instantly with their glowing smile. It is worth a stay at Camilson’s more times in...

Read moreAddictive! I think that is the best way to describe Camilsons Beach Resort. It was our fifth time visiting this little slice of Eden tucked away from the noise and bustle of beach resorts. Although on the beach, Camilsons has a lush green lawn dotted with beach-beds and shaded by palm trees. The hinterland has a breathtaking view of palm trees which form a canopy over the path to the lawn, beach and sea, The accommodation ranges from the more expensive EBlock and Camber Cottage which are two storeyed buildings and the lower range rooms, each with their own private verandah. The rooms with attached baths are AC and non AC and are basic but clean and comfortable, They all look out onto the amazing palm grove. If music and partying is your choice then Camilsons not for you but if are looking for serenity in beautiful surroundings then look no further! We are already planning our next visit.
