This is located by far on the best location of Benaulim offering fantastic views of the ocean, sunset, and a lengthy stretch of white sandy beach.
First look at the huts and you will fall in love with it. It is neatly maintained, has amazing views, and provides decent accommodation (if you are a lone traveler or with wife/girlfriend but not with kids or family).
However, once you meet the staff, the things start to go the other direction:
Now get to food & dine:
KIDS FRIENDLY? - NO, staff explicitly allow all smokers to smoke anywhere in the restaurant, near your hut, or anywhere within the property with absolutely no regard for small children. IN fact, the restaurant served HOOKA to a table right next to me where my 5-year old son was dining!!!
Overall, except for the location advantage (only for indoor staying guests), there is not a single thing that one would enjoy here. The nearest shop is a km away and a nearest another restaurant is more than a km away. So, you better come prepared as there is not much to explore, no food & dine options nearby, nothing in terms of positive vibe (usually you get from Palolem), or the least - DECENT STAFF. Nothing here. My suggestion - AVOID.

I owe you some money? You have billed for the items that were not even ordered by us and without contending I paid everything!
Checked in earlier? Check-in time was 1pm and we only arrived at 1:10pm yet your lady said the room was not ready and asked us to wait in the restaurant. By the time we got our room, it was 2:30pm and you come here and blabber...
It’s right on Benaulim beach. A couple of hundred meters away from the more popular shacks like Southern Deck. I had the Urak in mid March, the calamari and beef chili. The Urak felt somewhat weak. Almost watered down. I wasn’t disappointed but given it was my first drink this season had higher expectations. The calamari was fresh, not chewy at all, but the batter was a disaster. Flavour less and looked like they had added colour to it. The beef chili fry was absolutely not what I was expecting. More on the lines of the Sino-Ludhianvi Chicken or Paneer chili. The beef itself wasn’t bad and fairly tender. Don’t understand the need to overdo everything. The service was fairly decent without being special. Given that it was a slow night a bit more attention would’ve been appreciated. One aspect I was surprised by was the music. Really good and at least while I was there no standard Bollywood fare. You can get Bollywood music everywhere leave the shacks alone. I found the place exorbitant. Not Southern Deck exorbitant but still on the expensive side for basically sitting on the sand. The Urak was ₹100 a drink. Which is very high for Urak. There shacks down the very next night I got a nip (180ml) for ₹120. The food was around ₹500 each item. While I didn’t mind the place and the overall experience, I didn’t feel it was good value or high quality. Do better and moderate...
Read moreBeautiful location to stay in South goa. The beach is accessible and you can see it standing in your porch area. The restaurant food is also great. We tried 2-3 different resto nearby but didn't find the food upto expectations as was available here.
You need to park your vehicle in a common parking and walk towards the beach huts. I felt the huts were a little small. We could not sit inside due to limited space and outside due to mosquitoes it was kinda annoying. But inspite of that, it was a pleasant stay.
If you are planning to visit here, make sure to bring these things: a. Toiletries (they only provide soap) b. Mosquito repellant/coil/fast card/mosquito agarbattis and match stick. c. Bottle Openers (if you are planning to get your own beer and drink at your room. d. Extension board (they have only 1 plug point to charge the mobile phones and it becomes difficult if there are many people). e. Get a 10 l bottle of water otherwise you will have to buy small bottles from the resto which might become costly. f. They serve only standard beers like kingfishcer, hoegarden, heiniken, beck's ice (if available). If you would like to have local goan beers, then I would suggest you get it from outside and bring it to your room. You can ask for Ice Bucket to keep it cool.
Do try the Fish curry and rice over here. It was...
