Imagine my surprise when I was introduced to the room with "Our housekeepers are not cleaning properly so we are not providing toiletries, etc and those are on request only".
This is not something you expect when you spend Rs. 40k for 3 day stay. And true to his words the water heater kettle was dirty. When I asked to change or clean, they gave another kettle which also had some residue. When I said its dirty too, the staff said its the texture of the kettle. Then when I pointed out the maggi residue they finally cleaned and provided the first kettle.
The bathroom door was not locking properly. Even when we told them the problem they took no action.
There was just a shampoo dispenser and a body lotion in the bathroom. And the shampoo smelled like hand wash.
All the bathroom fittings were leaking and old.
Food was just ok. Not great. Definitely not something you expect for the money they take. They charge Rs. 1500 per person for one buffet meal. But it should have costed around Rs. 800 maximum. And considering the "membership" and the amount they already take for the room it should have been even less.
They didn't even provide free breakfast, which should have been a must. Most of the hotels provide that.
Parking space was submerged in water and was full of mud. There was no valet and the way to parking is one way, which gets blocked due to people simultaneously trying to park and others trying to get out. There is no one to co-ordinate there.
There was no seating arrangement at the beach. Even small private hotels at Baga beach are able to provide chairs and tables, but a resort which is taking so much money is not able to provide anything. They are not even there to help or make your experience wonderful. If you ask for a towel, they will ask you to put down your room number in a register first. And towel for beach is only given in one of the two pools. If you ask for it at the other pool, they'll ask you to get it from the other pool.
The room had nothing to eat inside. Even 3 star hotels keep something in the fridge, even if chargeable. But they had nothing.
The whole Club Mahindra seems to be running because of their sales team. When we arrived at the hotel, we told that we had had a very long drive. But still the sales person wanted to have a talk with us and was trying to sell some scheme. Told them that I'll talk after getting fresh. Even before I was able to take a bath, they called again to get in touch. I said I'll meet them after an hour maybe. They said that they'll give a call after half an hour. I decided at that time itself to cut all my ties with Club Mahindra. Such desperation are tell tell symptoms of whats happening with it.
Every day some sales person from Club Mahindra was trying to get in touch with us. Even some sales persons from nearby hotel/resort were trying to sell schemes outside their gates and even on their private beach.
In response to the owner's response: I don't use facebook. Aren't emails a better way to communicate such things? You expect me to search for a facebook page and post this there instead of sharing an email address. Sorry, but I am changing the review...

Holidays with family are meant to be relaxed, fun and at a place where you don’t have to bother about anything. Pay well and get good service.
Club Mahindra will take relaxation out of holiday right from the booking stage
The properties are huge and attractive, the infrastructure is good, and maintenance is also fair. However, while booking, the rooms are never available.
We were 5 adults and 1 infant travelling and requested bookings accordingly, and for all of us, we were given 1HUS (a bedroom and a living room with sofa come bed) 1 bathroom, 1 toilet.
Check-in we requested a little early because we had an infant with us but there were so many parties waiting for check-in that priority was given to those who stood on their head and got the work done.
Regarding food, their charges and menus have exorbitant pricing, both in buffet and all carte (And no meal is included in the booking). Included breakfast is not a concept here. Extra charge for even ice is as high as Rs. 250/- No worries, good things always have a price. But, the disappointment began as soon as you started tasting, the quality of breakfast is substandard, and the ingredients used were low quality. The menu appears the same every day.
Alert: the quality of ghee, butter, oil etc used was extremely low (for the first two days Amul butter chipsets were served but after that there some coin-type buttons were kept in the name of butter and I am sure it was purely fat. )
Several staff members were trying to save the brand name constantly. Kudos to the loyal staff members however their gentle behaviour did nothing good.
Check-in and check-out were awful, we brought our luggage to the room at the time of check-in. We were denied cleaning on request stating that cleaning is not done on the day of check-in.
We were supposed to be allotted two rooms for the second night, however, they were far away from each other in the huge property (which we had to check out and recheck in again on the third day. So basically we were supposed to shift every day of our stay). We denied the same.
My father-in-law is already a member, however, the manager tried to sell another membership to my husband!
All in all, if you want a relaxed holiday, book as and when you wish to go. The only benefit of CM membership is stays included in membership, the reservation of which extremely tedious task.
Be relaxed and don’t commit to CM

My bad experience started during checkin only. It took almost 1hr to assign our room.I had informed my arrival time well in advance but I was made to wait in the reception area for almost 1hr in HOT WEATHER. As reception area is open it was very hot. My room Central AC was not cooling properly and we were sweating like anything. Visit by various AC technician did not solve the issue. For 2days we were almost without an AC in such a hot Goa weather. One of the rooms toilet had a leakage issues from the Toilet seat. Water was filling on the floor and was really smelly. Plumber came multiple times but the problem was not rectified. Our family had to bear the smelly water and had to stay in unhygienic condition. The water from toilet line also started leaking from under the sink in the kitchen area. It was difficult to live. For 2days various maintenance staff kept on coming for AC and toilet leakage issue and we could not even step out of the room. Our holidays were ruined. After 2days on 12th FEB evening I was told the room will be changed.I was shown a room late evening and I was told on 13th morning it will be ready.Duty manager told he will show another room on 13th morning and then I can choose any one room.But I did not recieve any call till 11pm.When I called reception I was informed I will get a call after room is ready.But till evening I did not get a call if the room is ready or not..Very unprofessional. Housekeeping service also not upto the mark. If I used to ask for 2items like body lotion and towel or any other toiletries the person will get only 1 item and will tell I will bring the 2nd item.But he will never come back.This happened few times. After lot of requests when room was changed I gave clear instructions that please give 2BHK room in which AC is working properly. But in 2nd room also the AC was also not working properly.It was not cooling properly. Literally I had to spent 4days in sweaty conditions in hot goa weather. 9.Even technician gave up and said more than this cooling we cannot do.There is some issues/blockage in the AC pipe which require major repair. My 4days holidays in clubm varca were ruined due to maintenance and bad room experience. 10.I came for a relaxing holiday but had a stressful holidays due to poor maintained 2BHK apartments.
