An Unforgettable Nightmare - Avoid This Place at All Costs!
My recent stay at this hotel in Goa was nothing short of a horrendous experience. We arrived with high hopes of enjoying a memorable vacation with my family and friends, but what awaited us was a complete disaster. From the moment we stepped foot into the place, it was evident that cleanliness and basic necessities were not a priority for the management.
First and foremost, the state of hygiene was appalling. The entire hotel was an absolute mess, with filth and dirt scattered all around. It seemed as though cleanliness was a foreign concept to the staff, who displayed a complete disregard for maintaining a sanitary environment. To make matters worse, there was no provision for drinking water in the rooms. Instead, we were advised to fill water bottles directly from a tap, without any purifier or filters. This blatant negligence towards guest welfare is unacceptable.
The staff's attitude matched the abysmal condition of the hotel. Rude, unprofessional, and utterly careless, they demonstrated a complete lack of respect for the guests. To our utter disbelief, they were carrying out furniture work in multiple rooms, even during the late hours of the night. The noise generated from this construction was deafening, disrupting any chance of rest or relaxation. Furthermore, the staff made no effort to clear the wooden particles that littered the floor, posing a safety hazard for everyone.
Despite booking through OYO, a supposedly reliable platform, their support proved to be utterly useless. They failed to address our concerns or provide any assistance in resolving the issues we encountered. It is disheartening to realize that even the support from a reputable company was absent when we needed it the most.
The amenities offered by the hotel were far from satisfactory. The air conditioning and electrification systems were faulty, causing discomfort and inconvenience throughout our stay. It is disheartening to pay for amenities that do not work as advertised. We felt deceived and betrayed by the false promises made by this establishment.
To add insult to injury, the restaurant staff were unfriendly and rude. We were charged for Tandoori Roti, only to be served plain chapatis at the same price. When we confronted them about this dishonest practice, their response was met with further rudeness, suggesting that we should go elsewhere if we were not satisfied.
Moreover, the state of the bedsheets, curtains, and towels was utterly repulsive. They were stained, dirty, and clearly neglected. It was evident that proper cleaning and maintenance were not a priority for the hotel. Additionally, the absence of a floor mat made it even more inconvenient and unhygienic to navigate the room.
Adding to the list of safety concerns, the sliders leading to the sitout area in the rooms failed to lock properly. This blatant security oversight left us feeling vulnerable and exposed to potential intruders. It is absolutely unacceptable for a hotel to compromise the safety of its guests in such a negligent manner.
Furthermore, the rooms themselves emitted a foul stench due to excessive humidity. It was evident that the management had made no effort to address the issue, resulting in an uncomfortable and unpleasant atmosphere.
These significant shortcomings in maintaining basic cleanliness, ensuring guest safety, and providing a comfortable environment for guests highlight the utter incompetence and disregard exhibited by this hotel.
In conclusion, I strongly advise anyone considering this hotel in Goa to steer clear of this nightmare. The deplorable conditions, coupled with the disrespectful staff and the unresponsive OYO support, made our holiday a living nightmare. This place has absolutely no regard for basic hygiene, guest comfort, or customer service. Save yourself the agony and choose a different accommodation to ensure an enjoyable and...
Read moreThis Property is situated at a 5 mins walking distance from Benaulim beach. This property has a in house restuarant. Not a fan of the restaurant though!! I will talk about about it in a detail further down.
I am giving a 3 star rating only because of the clean rooms and the polite. staff. What I liked about their hotel is the rooms are clean & spacious. And the staff at the reception are very polite and welcoming. The check-in process is very effortless. Now let's come to restaurant part. I had a very bad experience as far the restaurant is concerned There was no option for complimentary breakfast , there was just one dish 'Upma' So we decided to order a bread omelette. The omlette was served with 2 bread pieces which were not even toasted, so we told the restaurant staff to get it toasted and guess what!! the bread was literally burned and served to us. Later we when we called for the cheque . I was wondering how a much a omlette with served with a burned bread would cost. They charged us 300 + taxes for 2 omlette with 4 piece of burned bread. (150+ taxes for 1 omlette and 2 pieces of bread.) I feel it is a absurd amount for a omlette and two pieces of bread ( burned) at in house restaurant of average Hotel. I don't know know about you guys but I being a middle class traveller, finds it widly unreasonable. So my advice is definitely book their hotel but avoid the in- house restaurant for a breakfast atleast. There are lots of other restaurant around with reasonable price and good service.
P.S - Do check the menu before placing your order ( even a omlette bread) at this...
Read moreWe booked 4 rooms through agoda and got the confirmation with a phone number of the hotel. We got a call almost immediately from the same number and introduced himself as the manager of the property (name is Kennedy) . Now the cheating started, this guy asked us to cancel the agoda booking since he can give the booking for direct hotel booking amount. Believing in him we did the same and gave half amount (12k)for booking. After reaching the hotel and confirming the name first the receptionist ask us to wait as she is waiting for people to check out. In between we were seeing foreigners coming for direct booking and they were giving room for them. So feeling fishy we asked again, suddenly she said that the room we booked is of another property of them itself which is a low budget one (in Google it's showing just 900 per night but we booked a room for 3000) and she asked us to give the remaining amount so only they can allocate the room when we asked to show the room. When questing her, she said she don't know the guy who booked but we saw our names in the booking register. When we raise our voice she accepted Mr Kennedy is associated with the hotel.
It's very simple, they gave the rooms we booked to some foreigners for extra money and push us out. On saying we are going to police station, she immediately did the refund and ask us to leave. It means this is a big scam and if we keep mum, they will outright cheat us.
If you read till now and still need to book with them, let...
