My partner and I recently celebrated our anniversary with a day spent at the JW Marriot, Vagator, and it was an experience that exceeded our expectations in every aspect. From the moment we stepped into the hotel until the time we reluctantly left, every detail was thoughtfully curated to make our celebration special.
ÁGUA POOL BAR & CAFÉ The day kicked off with a visit to the Água Pool Bar & Café, and we were immediately captivated by the stunning infinity pool and the breathtaking view. The cocktails served were not only delicious but also expertly crafted. Shayal, our server, provided impeccable service, making our time by the pool truly enjoyable. The combination of refreshing drinks, a serene atmosphere, and Shayal's attentiveness set the tone for a perfect day.
SPA BY JW The SPA by JW was a sanctuary of relaxation. We indulged in a couples massage that left us feeling rejuvenated and pampered. The atmosphere was tranquil, and the facilities were top-notch. The attention to detail and the comfort provided during our spa experience left us truly impressed. It was a therapeutic interlude that added to the overall bliss of our special day.
DINNER AT HELICONIA RESTAURANT The culinary highlight of our anniversary was the dinner at Heliconia Restaurant. The fusion of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine was a delightful surprise. Every dish, from the Classic Ceviche to the Prawn Tempura, was a symphony of flavors. The star of the show, the konikama Chuka Wakame, was a gastronomic masterpiece. Our server, Ajay, elevated the dining experience by not only being knowledgeable about every dish but also by creating a romantic candlelit outdoor seating just for us. His recommendations were spot-on, showcasing his expertise and passion for the culinary arts. The personal touch added by Ajay made our dining experience truly heavenly.
A heartfelt thanks to Divinder, Anamika, Kim, and Abhishek from the hotel staff for their outstanding hospitality. Their warm and attentive service made our visit delightful and memorable. The seamless coordination among the staff members contributed to the overall excellence of our stay.
In conclusion, our day spent at the JW Marriot Vagator for our anniversary was nothing short of magical. The combination of breathtaking views, delectable dining, and impeccable service made it a celebration to remember. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious and...
Read moreI was in Goa for my daughter’s second birthday. I was traveling with my family. We had booked two rooms for ourselves. We almost stayed for a week at the Property, having explored most of the properties within Goa. We really wanted to experience this one & to our surprise, it stood up to our expectations. It is a beautiful property . The Breakfast spread is amazing. We would chill at the rooftop poolside area for the most afternoons. I could see a lot of families around, seemed like a quiet child friendly property . Prior to my arrival, I was in touch with the guest relations manager Asen, She was quite helpful and very cooperative, she understood my requirements for my baby’s birthday quite well & made me feel like family. the property is new and pretty, the staff is helpful. One of the night duty managers was also very prompt & helped me at one instance. One drawback I felt was a little on the service area where it was sometimes tedious to get my baby’s milk bottles sterilized and get the milk ready. It would take quite a lot of time ( minimum 40-45 minutes every night ) which would at times frustrate me as a mother, secondly their Steam & sauna takes forever to start, as a guest you waste a lot of your time waiting for the machines to start, they need to improve on that & lastly at the day of check out I felt a little cornered & change in operator’s attitude as she debated over a small bowl of noodles to be given to me for my baby ( which had been provided previous day was well) but she was very adamant to not serve “ noodles” in place of khichdi, dal, roti ( as my baby was little unwell & refused to eat all bland food), somewhere I felt really bad, I won’t mention the name of the employee here just that properties like Marriott should ensure consistency, the vibes at the time of departure should be same like it is at the time of arrival.. Lol, my spouse & family were glad with the stay, we made sure to tip really really well… just that the little noodles debate wasted a lot of my time while I was already stressed with packing & a little toddler & hence I forgot a few belongings in the room as well…rest the stay was fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed. We have come back with a lot of memories and look forward to visit again. ||JW Marriott…...
Read moreHighly recommended! We stayed for 5 nights and the entire, from start to finish, was well above what we expected. The welcome was extremely warm (garland and tiara are a nice touch). Check-in process was smooth.
Facilities are top notch. We utilised the gym every day and although not massive, it has everything you need for a decent workout on a trip. The aromatic cold towels were ideal.
Breakfast was incredible with countless options for all tastes. Not taking anything away from the rest of the staff but Bhutani, in specific, made the experience wonderful. His service was excellent and he also took the time to have a conversation with us. The lady that greeted us as we entered was also lovely although we didn't catch her name.
We also utilised the spa for a foot and head massage as well as a haircut. Prices are only slightly above what you'd get outside but that's expected and certainly worth the overall experience.
The "Neon" space on the bottom floor was great fun and has enough to spend at least a couple of hours. Two bowling lanes, music, air hockey, carom and many other games are available. Once again, the staff were great and explained all available packages. They were also accommodating when we requested our choice of music.
Lastly, the pool is big with a beautiful view and plenty of space for a lot of people to sit/lie down, relax and read a book or grab a drink. Spent many hours there!
Overall, couldn't recommend this place highly enough. If you can, definitely make the visit and be sure to stay a few...
