We stayed at mistral holidays, Benaulim for nearly 2 months and can’t praise enough about the property!
Flat condition - since we were staying for 2 months, we had booked 1 BHK apartment on 1st floor. During our stay many people joined us so I was able to see all other rooms too and can confidently say that all the apartments and single rooms are furnished equally well. The furnitures are tastefully designed and are all solid wood giving it nice texture. Bed is comfortable. Bathrooms fittings are great. Kitchen has enough utensils to allow you to cook and you can always get more should you require more from Kathleen. But more on that later.
Apartment has good speed wifi and other than few minor glitches we were able to work from mistral for nearly 2 months with zoom video calls.
Cleanliness -At the check in, we found apartment super clean. Linens and towels are changed alternate days and if you need additional you could get that too. The maid, Mili is really good at her work. She came alternate days to clean and ensured that our apartment is spotless. Thank you Mili.
Location - Holy trinity beach (which is better than main Benaulim beach) is 8 mins walk and 3 mins by car. Main Benaulim would be 15 mins walk. One could hire cycles and that’s even better option to roam around and uncover the local village and beachside areas. There are grocery stores nearby and a supermarket about 700 mtrs from the property. You have many restaurants who delivery food directly at the apartment. However, since we were working, we relied heavily lunch deliveries from next door Venzy’s restaurant. The chef ‘Linda’ made our stay comfortable with her home cooked food. Not to worry about lunch, tea etc was a great relief to us while working from goa. There are laundries nearby that was helpful too. We always went to Annie’s laundry and they provided great service.
Lots of breakfast options nearby, Dinah’s, Cinnamon, German Bakery and lot many options for dinner such as Goodfellas, Ecolla (they delivery at home), and party place as southern deck (our weekend hangout place)
People - it’s a family managed place and truly all of them are so humble and go out of their way to make guest’s stay comfortable. Can’t thank Kathleen enough for all her help that made our long stay possible. From sorting wifi, to power backup, giving us desks and chair to recommending places, she is always there to help. She ensured that we never had to struggle for anything. Jasmine and Mr. Farnandees were always great to talk and prompt to help as well.
We would highly recommend Mistral holidays apartments to all. Whether long holiday or short stay, Mistral is the...

Went as a family and stayed here for a week. The property is within walking distance of Trinity beach, around a 10-15 minute walk.
What I liked: Very professional in handling clients and making you comfortable the moment you check-in. We had kids so they arranged for the kids TV channels during the stay. I was partly working using the WiFi provided by property. They also went out of the way and arranged for a Table and Chair to work. Peaceful surroundings. No noise at all. Only the sound of birds chirping around. Basic Kitchen with an induction plate, couple of cups, a coffee maker, couple of plates, spoons and forks, frying pan and a good refrigerator. Housekeeping done really well with change in bed linen every alternate day. Inverter backup for lights and fans. On premise parking. Kader Supermarket around a km away has all the essential groceries if you plan to stay long-term.
Food: Our stay wouldn't have been memorable without the next door Venzy's. Venzy's provide doorstep delivery of food here. The restaurant was closed however they deliver food to Mistral Holidays. They would give you the best Goan food you would have at rates that won't hurt your pocket. Benaulim being a town engaged in fishing activity, you would get some of the best fresh and tasty fish here. Ask them what they have best for the day and they won't disappoint you.
What could be improved: Hot water is provided using Solar. If the property is all booked, you may get warm instead of hot water. Although when in Goa you may not need hot water that much, however, the kids may complain about it a bit. Cars are parked one behind the other. This can lead to issues if your car is parked behind a guest's car who is asleep or gone somewhere. With some smart realignment of parking space and painted spots, they could probably avoid this.
All and all, will definitely recommend people to consider staying at...
Read moreWe had booked a studio room and stayed here for couple of nights. The room that was alloted to us was extremely small without any balcony / sitout area. It would not be more than 12 x 10 feet with a queen sized bed in the middle, a large cupboard on one side and a small refrigerator (didn't look like it was being used and the plug was also out) plus a small table on the other side. The small room along with these things meant that there was hardly any space left to move inside the room let alone unpack / keep suitcases / bags etc. On top of this, the doors of the cupboard did not open fully due to lack of space and there were absolutely no racks inside (large vacant box with lots of spaces to hang overcoats in goa!!). There were mosquitos outside the room especially in the evening / night On the plus side the caretaker is extremely well mannered and they also let us check in early without too much fuss. The location is decent with trinity beach being a 10 min walk from the property. Wifi is present and internet speed is decent. The outside of the property is also well maintained and photogenic. There are other rooms in the property as well with balconies but not sure how they were alloted. For the prices they were charging, we were extremely disappointed with the size of the room that...
