It's a very cozy place to stay on the hip Ashvem beach in North Goa - frequented by several foreigners. You need to climb down a few flight of stairs from the main entrance to get to the resort and the beach front Shack / bar / restaurant. We had gone there just for the sundowner, but the whole vibe and feel of the place was interesting. The bar is facing the beach and just a few meters of walk and you're right in the sea. They have a good collection of cocktails and drinks and the food that we had tasted good too - the paneer Tikka starter though was a bit of a port down. The menu slightly overpriced but the view and location make it worth the amount we ended up paying. The house music played at the shack was also perfect for the place. The shower area and the washrooms are neat and well maintained - unlike a few other similar places in the vicinity. Good place to chill with friends and look at the sun go down right in front of you!

A lovely resort lush with beautiful greenery. But even if you're not staying, be sure to visit their restaurant to grab some drinks and food while watching the sunset (best to reserve a table in advance just in case). Very friendly service as well. Two reasons I'm not giving it 5 stars: - The parking and entrance are really tricky to find + there's a ton of construction going on in the parking lot so it's hard to navigate with a car - The cocktails could be a bit better - e.g. the piña colada seemed too watery and dilute. + extra points for being pet-friendly. They also have some friendly resident dogs!

Good ambience, perfect sea view, beach is clean and not much rush, u can spent hours here without getting bored, if u can afford a pinch in ur pocket then good place. I would say, one of the better place to spend time in Goa. Of course, the food part. One star less. If you have got complains about the food that is being served, you will have a hard time convincing them first, second, the still insist on billing you for the food which has been returned. I have had a very sour experience.

I went to the Palm Grove resort yesterday evening for dinner. I reached with my husband and family around 9:15pm. After reaching there I got dinning menu and suddenly their staff came and told us order fast everything will close at 10:00pm. When I asked him to wait he started shouting and saying -- "WE WILL NOT SERVE AND FOOD AND LEAVE RESTURENT. HE SNACHED MENU FROM MY HAND AND MY BROTHER's HAND.". We asked him what's wrong with you he is saying "SINCE MONRING SO MANY GUEST COMES AND HE IS TIRED." We asked what we did to him he said "KITCHEN IS CLOSING AFTER PRPARING ORDER IT WILL BECOME 10pm". So he do not want to serve food and asked us "TO LEAVE AND WHEN WE ASKED HIM TO SEND OTHER PERSON HE IS TELLING ALL HOTEL STAFF NOT TO GO AND TAKE ORDERS". We call again one guy he told that "RUDE STAFF GUY IS THE SENIOR AND WE CANT DO ANYTHING". We asked him to give MANGER'S NUMBER. He said there is no manager in the resort. Then we went to counter and saying bad things to bar staff. We we went at counter and asked that why he is behaving like that and its 9:19pm why cant they serve food?? They do not have any answer. We kept saying give us MANAGER's contact no. They kept denying and then one counter guy said he is the manager :D. Then we asked can we talk to owner then he said "OWNER IS MANAGER's BROTHER AND IT WILL NOT MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE". As a customer I would like to know -- 1- Who gave restaurant staff an authority to snatch menu from my and brother's hand?? 2- Did I ask you guys to provide for free?? 3- Your staff says so many customers are coming from morning so he is angry. Then why he is showing his anger to us?? 4- If you guys do not want to serve the food then why you guys did not tell when we reached there??

I would request all people who are travelling to GOA. STAY AWAY from...

Extremely disappointed by their service, today was my last day with my parents in goa until we see each other again next year and we wanted to go to a nice restaurant next to a beach. However, this place was a huge let down. We have been here few times with friends but seems like staff has changed since. The restaurant was almost empty except for 2-3 other guests which added to our confusion as to why the waiter was extremely rude (answered question with one word that also with such haste to go back and chit chat with other waiters at the bar), had his back towards us which was why we had to let other waiter know if we needed drinks or our bill. Amenities were up to par but the service was extremely lacking. We quickly switched to another restaurant because the waiter could have easily ruined our last precious day. I just wished if I could let the waiter know that if he continue to serve people half heartedly (or discriminate based on our nationality, color, religion etc) he should find another job. We own a restaurant thus we know that providing excellent and equal service is fundamental for a business to last long! Fortunately the waiter saga started from the beginning so we didn’t order any main course. The starter was a joke, for three pieces of regular sized prawns and literally half handful of calamari was Rs600, would have still happily paid if the service was at least decent. Extremely disappointing!...

A flat out treat to my excursion with a delightful property with ocean side access and extraordinary food, cordiality and individual retreat visitors. A should visit in the event that you are a glad to give up inside nature and need a fast break. The rooms are roomy with extraordinary outside gardens. Wonderfully chose plants cause the space to feel incredibly intriguing and magically transports you to a Professional flowerbed. The food is a reward as the menu is taken care of fit a taste that matches world cooking and ofcourse the admittance to the ocean side makes it an ideal window into paradise you wanted for your short stay. I would just check it (not the hotel, but rather the ocean side) adversely is because of the ocean side being ineffectively kept up with by the nearby retreat proprietors altogether. The ocean is radiating with marine movement with Jam fishes, star fishes and heaps of other marine life, the plastic waste and litter from the ocean side merchants (women who sell fake gems and garments) don't comprehend the significance of the ocean side and litter with Coconut oil bottles, plastic coverings and broken adornments pieces. That made a gigantic imprint on my visit. I care about the climate and uncommonly saw that the retreat attempted to do it's piece, however the endless loop just...
