Mountain View Cottage — Hotel in Great Himalayan Range

Plz don't stay here. No restaurant nearby. No power back up....often power goes off and you have to demand for candles. 3 Just one caretaker(owner lied that there are two) for 3 units...around 7 rooms totally impossible to even clean the rooms. 4.Lighting is not enough. Broadband .....Very low speed...Hardly works....Owner says bring your own router. owner was not only rude when we complained to Airbnb but also he threatened us to check out during the peak season(it had snowed heavily the last night) taking advantage of the fact that no other hotel is available. 6.Washroom...No proper lights...You can't even shave....No water pressure to clear the toilet seat. 7.Owner even doesn't answer the calls.(was declining calls repeatedly) 8.Parking...Not suitable for most of the cars due to very sharp slope. Even basic necessasities you have to ask for like...Soap,towels,paste,shampoo, toilet paper etc (even when all these were mentioned and included as basic necessities while booking)10.In the name of cloth hangers they just provide two.11.For room heater they charged Rs1000 per night. NOW...

I was on a tour last month. And when I know my little brother book this hotel, so far from the Mall road; my first reaction was a little bit irritated. But we brought bike with us, so we manage to find the place. If you are looking for quiet time and hassle free environment, this is the Hotel you are looking for. There is well enough space for parking and each and every amenities. The Cottage got two reception counter. So, the one in which we lodge have staff scarcity in rush hour, but that's okay. I must say, this is the best kind of hotel for family, couple or group of friend. The catch is, if you don't have vehicle on your own, you might have trouble getting in and out from hotel every time. The overall experience and the Hotel itself is good...

I recently stayed at the Mountain Sight Cottages in Manali and was extremely disappointed with the quality of the accommodation and the food. The cottages were small and cramped, with outdated fixtures and poor maintenance. The beds were uncomfortable, and there were several issues with the plumbing and electricity.The meals served at the on-site restaurant were bland and unappealing, with limited options on the menu. The quality of the food was poor, and we often found hair and other contaminants in our meals. The staff at the restaurant was unresponsive and unhelpful, and did not seem to care about the issues we encountered. Overall, I would not recommend the Mountain Sight Cottages to anyone, and would look for alternative...
