Namaste Inn Beas Valley — Hotel in Great Himalayan Range

I stayed at Namastey Inn Beas Valley in Manali and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Apart from the decent location and the view of the Manali valley, everything else was a disaster.

No Kettle in Rooms: In a cold hill station, providing an electric kettle should be basic – but this hotel didn’t have one in the room, which is just unacceptable.

Extremely Poor Service: If you ask for water, expect to wait 20–30 minutes. There is no sense of urgency or hospitality from the staff.

Misleading Breakfast "Buffet": We asked in advance what was being served and whether boiled eggs were available for kids, and received no clear response. After 15 minutes, a room boy randomly showed up with a paratha, sandwich, and tea, calling this a “buffet.” It was completely unprofessional and poorly handled. Do not opt for the breakfast-inclusive package—you’ll regret it.

No Running Water for Two Days: During our stay, there was no water available at all due to ongoing maintenance work on the roof. No advance notice, no apologies, and absolutely no alternative arrangements. And since they took the entire booking amount in advance, we were trapped and couldn’t check out after the first day. I was traveling with a child, and the entire situation felt like slavery.

No Housekeeping: We stayed for 2 days and no one came to clean the room even once. The cleanliness standards were shockingly poor.

Final Verdict: DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. The only positive is the view — but it’s absolutely not worth the misery and stress. There are far better places to stay in Manali with professional staff, basic amenities, and honest service.

Just last month, I had booked two rooms in your hotel for my brother and sister-in-law from 1st Dec to 4th Dec. On behalf of all of them I'm sharing with you their experience with your hotel. Everyone said that your hotel is very good, especially the view of the Beas river in front of the hotel captivates everyone. They told me that the staff at the front desk were incredibly welcoming and helpful, all over the staff were always smiling and ready to help and the Both room was spotless with a comfortable bed. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city center. They had an amazing time at your hotel! They also said that the food was so delicious and the service was really great, too!
