Worst experience of my life, ruined my birthday
Would have given 0 stars if that was an option.
I went to Raddison, Sona road to celebrate my birthday with my family at the end of march. In all honesty, this was without a doubt the worst experience of my life. I had a membership for stay and other facilities which i could have availed through out the year but couldn’t till the very end of it because every-time i would ask for a room, they would deny saying they are fully booked even on off season. At the end after multiple emails they agreed to host us at the end of march but it was also my birthday so we were excited to go.
When we reached the hotel, there was no welcoming behaviour from the staff. Let alone offering a welcome drink (which is a very basic thing these days) , the staff wasn’t even courteous enough to talk politely. They made us wait for a bit and then we were given our rooms. It was my birthday so we went to order a cake which we were denied by Mr. Balam because apparently it had to be pre-booked a day before. Ironically, we had contacted the hotel a day before for my birthday cake and they said it can be ordered on arrival which we had agreed to. Even on requesting Balam multiple times, he was very rude snd stern to us. When we asked him if he could make it happen for is because it was my birthday, he said and I quote “Ek cake ke liye oven thodi chalega maam” I doubt he has gotten any training in hotel management and hospitality because in all the 22 years that i have been visiting hotel all across india, this has been my worst experience where forget about making my birthday special by room decor or a special dessert, i was denied even a birthday cake that i would have paid for. Ignoring this we thought that we shouldn’t ruin our day because of the misbehaved and inhospitable staff so we went ahead to our room.
The rooms were rather small and compact. The basic facilities were there but it didn’t actually feel like i was in Raddison. It just felt like a very mediocre hotel.
Later at night, when we went for my birthday dinner, they stopped us saying two complimentary coupons (dinner for 2) couldn’t be used clubbed, meaning we, a family if 4 can’t take dinner together. Now at this point it must be noted that this is the first and last time we had come here to redeem our FULL YEAR membership, that too on a birthday. Sanjeev came to our table and created a scene. Then, Mr. Balam came into picture again and started arguing like we were in a street market. His behaviour was so unprofessional, we felt extremely embarrassed and humiliated. Later, the manager was called who then told us we can have dinner. When we told him about his staff’s behaviour, he wasn’t apologetic either. I have never experienced this kind of rudeness by the hotel staff ever. It felt like we were in some 2 star hotel. Maybe even two star hotels are better. The food was fine, but the staff has completely ruined our night. Ruined my birthday.
Talking about the other faculties, the pool was extremely unhygienic. There were pigeons flying all around because they had made nest near the hotel windows and they were beating in and around the pool and even on top of people’s head. The spa facility was not really up to the mark and the spa staff seemed untrained.
It’s the little gestures that count and a simple smile can go a long way but Raddison, Sona road totally disappointed us. They couldn’t provide even the bare minimum and ruined our mood on the top of it. I wouldn’t recommend this even to an...

So here is a honest review of Radisson sohna road, Gurugram-
So i went to this hotel with my family to celebrate my sister's birthday, first of all at the entrance there was no welcome drink or such , nor was there any warm welcome by the staff there . We checked in and we were surprised again when we were just given the room cards to locate the rooms ourselves, like seriously in a Radisson hotel , noone was sent to give us a tour . Neither the reception staff informed about the breakfast or dinner timings on their own , instead we had to ask each and everything like if they are paying us for the services. The welcome was very cold and disappointing.
Now let's come to the main person who ruined our experience totally i.e BALAM ,we went to the bakery to inquire about the cake we had to get through our membership coupon, but at first glance he talked in a frustrating way and straight away denied to give a cake by saying that all cakes are booked, like seriously there is a bakery in your hotel and you can't make a cake for the people staying. He also said,"aapke ek cake ke liye poora oven thodi chalega" . Also he was interpreting the terms and conditions on his own and was denying everything we asked for. We were very very disappointed by that behaviour and it totally made our mood off which led to the deterioration of our big occasion.
It doesn't end here, when we went for the dinner where we had to celebrate, again , restaurant staff mr sanjeev came along with BALAM and started to argue that 2 memberships vouchers can't be used together, like WOW, you want the membership owners to come every month to your hotel to redeem the vouchers, they were not ready to call the seniors and was continuously asking us to leave, embarrassing us in front of others and ruining our whole experience. He was taking the authority to interpret the terms and conditions on his own whereas the same policy was nowhere written.
Mr. Balam was acting very arrogantly and this kind of behaviour was not expected when I've spent thousands for a good experience.
Coming on to the quality of the buffet, it was below average for a 4 star hotel, very less variety and half of the food was cold. The rooms of the hotel are old and not of the expected standard. Would never recommend anyone to go for this hotel. Also anyone reading this review, kindly never try this place, it will only ruin your experience. There was no regret in their eyes after ruining our experience and embarrassing us in front of others. Worst hotel I've went to in my lifetime and the worst hotel staff i have seen in my lifetime- Mr balam especially If any senior authorities of the hotel are reading this review, kindly look into this matter if customer reviews matter to...

That is the song I was singing after a beautifully curated evening spent in the absolutely beautiful, newly opened OpenGrill #GalliNo6 at #RadissonSohnaRoad.
It was a crazy busy week with home, work and kids but an invite for an all-girls event with delicious food and drinks was not to be missed! And boy, was I glad I didn’t give it a miss!
We were first greeted by the Restaurant #ChefInderDev and GM Gaurav sir, to hear the story behind the concept of GalliNo6! The Open Grill has been created in a small outdoor patio, big enough to host private events for 15-20 people very easily, with a bar and live Barbecue enticing your senses amidst the beautiful green backdrop!! It has been aptly named #GalliNo6 owing to the delicious flavors and aromas which will transport you to the heart of Old Delhi ki gallyan!!
#ChefInderDev has done brilliant justice to the concept and has created some crazy delicious recipes that keep you begging for more.
Some of my favorites if the evening were: MuttonChaap Chicken Pakoda Macchi Fry Anda Pakoda Paneer Tikka Bheege hue kulche Murg changezi Dal chulhe wali Pinni Gulab jamun
Not being a major mutton fan, it takes much for me to be impressed by any Mutton chaap. But omg!!! This was probably THE best Mutton Chaap I have ever had, succulent spices oozing through the marination, the meat so perfectly cut and cooked that you could bite it off the bone without a fight! It was the star of the evening for me!! 🌟🌟
The Pakodas had an awesome thin batter that was so lovely, you could perfectly taste the crispness and the chicken n egg inside. 😋
Macchi Fry tasted like an Indian version of Fish and Chips, 😋remember duscussing this with Ila Prakash as we devoured the plate!!
The Paneer tikka was also very nice and tasty. Although I did not like the Soya Chaap at all. It was very hard and dry, tried two rounds of it.
Also to mention were the Bheege hue Kulche and Paranthas. So soft and tasteful as accompaniment to the amazing Daal and Chicken Changezi! Loved the spice n chilli level in all the food, was just right. Not too sharp, yet totally flavorful!!
The Gulab Jamuns were excellent, just the right amount of sweet, immersed in desi ghee made for the perfect ending to a delicious meal!!
It was a great crowd and the snacks n cocktails kept coming to the tables amid chatter and banter, a typical sign of a successful Tasting Table!!
Thank you Gaurav Mehta Vickrham Vicky Maneesh Surendra Srivastava For hosting a beautiful evening with memories to last a lifetime!!
