Moti Mahal Restaurant — Restaurant in Haldwani

Went there after a long time , the ambience is changed and looks really good . Ordered Butter chicken and naan. The butter chicken was good not too sweet, but the chicken was not fresh . The butter naam was flaky but was not consistent , first two naans were good but the last one was thick and undercooked from the corners . The service was really really bad, firstly the onions came which were not freshly cut at all , they were mix of vinegar onions and normal . The chutney was not served at first until asked . Then the chutney came in bowl which was used , i could see the old chutney stains in it . I have to include this , the lady who was the owner was having too much attitude, her behaviour towards the staff was not good , very rude behaviour, too bossy behaviour. The food quality is good 👍🏻 . The interiors and architecture is very beautifully designed.

Their upper deck gives a sense of premium vibe.

Their menu is priced much higher than the standards.

The staff seemed exasperated and lacked the charm of hospitality. May be the lady (seemed to be the owner) was too harsh on their staff. However, the service attendant was available with the best he could offer.

There was wifi availability but no access was shared to the guests.

Overall the infrastructure and facilities are very good but it seems to be more of a family business that lacks...

Food was tasty however waiter was so rude and i was surprised by the fact that restaurant also started minimum cart order as i order my food and asked them for 1 masala papad but the person told me they serve minimum 2 masala papad.! I thought it would be a portion as mentioned in menu but he billed me for 2 portion.!! I didn’t get it then why he forced me to order 2 masala papad.! Thuggsss..!!! Paneer lababdar taste was great.!!
