The Bay Leaf Resort — Hotel in Himachal Pradesh

Excellent Stay !

I recently had the pleasure of staying at bay leaf Resort in Shimla. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality and professionalism of the staff were evident. It was best. The location of the hotel is ideal, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and valleys. The property is well-maintained, and every corner exudes charm and warmth, perfectly complementing the serene beauty of Shimla. The rooms were spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, with all the modern amenities you could need. One of the highlights was the food – the in-house restaurant served delicious meals, from local Himachali dishes to a variety of continental options. Each meal was freshly prepared and full of flavor. The staff truly made my stay special. They were always available to assist with travel tips, arranging transport, and making sure I felt at home. Big Space in the home. Booked it for 14 people. Service was decent. Location was Ok. No direct views from any room. You have to come outside of home to have views.

Issues we faced - Seepage in the whole home and rooms. No exhaust fans in the bathrooms on the left side of the home. All 3 TVs was not working & remotes were not available out of 7 TVs and rest TVs are not checked yet. Wifi not working for the left side of the home.Bcoz it's placed at the corner of the entrance gate. No hand towels have been provided for any bathroom until asked. No bath soaps in the bathrooms. No washing machine has been provided. Issue at entrance gate. As it's not very comfortable and tricky to enter with Traveller bus Bcoz height is not available at gate Bcoz of the Iron rod placed at gate.

So, don't book this property with the mindset of hotel. It's...

The resort rooms and kitchen was unhygienic... The promised services were not provided... No toiletries were provided... The owner Abhishek was very rude... Attendant was drunk and was distributing continuously till 12 at midnight without calling without any reason... The area is a hill station where temperatures go to minus temperatures still not enough blankets and heaters were given... When asked for an extra mattress Abhishek denied our request... Worst experience ever... Edit: convenient for the owner to give useless excuses but sir for your kind information I do have video proof of the drunk attendant, you accepting to the fact that you will not be providing any heaters or mattresses to us unless we paid extra even though it was included in our price.
