I have been to Jaipur a few time, and the last time, in 2013, we had stayed at Four Points by Sheraton in 2013. We had a memorable stay, thanks to the great staff and the personal attention by their erstwhile GM. So I knew that this time, we shouldn't really be spoilt the way we were the last time around.
So we went ahead, me a bit unsure. But things went off well, right from the moment go. The check-in was a bit slow, but very courteous, with nice staff around you. Once done, we went to our rooms, which were well-appointed and in top shape. So that was an immediate feel-good factor.
The swimming pool was a treat for the kids as they really frollicked in the waters, and made some new friends. What made things exciting was that we had complimentary spa sessions and beer built into our package.
The beauty about this hotel is that you can stay and laze within its boundaries for 2-3 days and not get bored at all! That's what we just did - the morning and evening buffets were amazingly well-spread, and we looked forward to those fun sessions every day. The dining area is pleasant and spacious, and the food is very well laid out - the salads and appetisers were beautifully laid out, and the main course too had a wide choice, to dull your taste-buds after a very well enthusiastic and long attack at the goodies. The food was nice, but lacked the bite we Indians like - that's because the hotel keeps in mind the fact that a lot of international tourists dine here too, and food must be good and yummy for them too, without making them run for water after every bite.
But what makes this place truly, truly special is the way the hotel team takes care of their guests. We never heard a no for anything, and the team was so gracious that they served us dishes that were not a part of the buffet, complimentary. They always had an attentive ear, keen to make your stay pleasant and nice. So it was their presence which really made the stay so wonderful.
Special mention goes to Sourav, and Prashant too, who were always there to make the experience truly enriching. Warm thanks and appreciation goes to every single person we met at the restaurant - right from the chef to the stewards...everyone of them was wonderful, without exception.
I also wish to appreciate the two wonderful housekeeping boys - the housekeeping was perfect, and faster than what I have seen anywhere else.
We have been back a few weeks, but still fondly look back to our stay. I think it had everything we want in a break - delightful luxury with superb value for money, heart-warming buffets, lovely ambience, a puppet session for the kids, personalised care and attention and lots more.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and can easily recommend this place for a nice, enjoyable stay.

Our recent stay at Four Points by Sheraton in Jaipur left us with mixed feelings. We checked in on the 30th of December 2023 and were allotted rooms 5501 and 5503.
The first hiccup occurred when we requested an extra bed for one of the rooms due to our group size of 5 people. To our surprise, upon entering the room, we found the mattress placed directly on the floor with no roll-in bed provided. After a quick visit to the front desk, they promptly arranged for the extra bed, but this initial oversight did cast a shadow on the hotel's commitment to maintaining hospitality standards.
Moving on to the room amenities, we were disappointed to find outdated and smaller TVs with a limited choice of channels. The head shower in the bathroom appeared old and was slightly broken. Moreover, the absence of a hairdryer was an unexpected inconvenience.
The overall ambiance of the room was affected by older and outdated lights, contributing to an impression that fell short of the expectations associated with a 4 or 5-star category hotel. The facilities provided seemed more in line with a 3-star rating, which was disappointing given the premium positioning of Four Points by Sheraton.
Despite these shortcomings, the staff's responsiveness to our concerns was commendable. However, the outdated facilities and the initial hiccup with the extra bed left us feeling that the stay did not align with the expected standards of a hotel of this caliber.
In conclusion, while Four Points by Sheraton in Jaipur provides satisfactory service, it may benefit from an upgrade of its facilities to meet the expectations associated with a higher...

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at what I can only describe as a dreadful hotel. From the moment I walked through the doors, it was clear that this was going to be a disappointing stay.
First and foremost, the cleanliness of the hotel was abysmal. The lobby was dingy and had an unpleasant odor that lingered in the air. The carpets were stained, and the furniture looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. I couldn't help but feel uneasy about the hygiene standards of the place.
Upon entering my room, I was greeted by a sight that made me cringe. The bathroom was no better; it had mold growing in the corners, and the shower curtain was covered in mildew. I couldn't bring myself to use the facilities without feeling disgusted.
But the problems didn't end with the cleanliness. The hotel staff were shockingly rude and unhelpful. It was as if they had no interest in assisting their guests or making their stay more comfortable.
To make matters worse, the hotel's location was less than ideal. It was situated in a run-down neighborhood, and I felt unsafe walking around after dark. I had to rely on expensive rideshares to get to any decent restaurants or attractions.
In summary, my stay at this hotel was a complete disaster. From the filthy rooms and unhelpful staff to the noise and lackluster amenities, there was absolutely nothing redeeming about my experience. I would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to look elsewhere for accommodations. It was a true nightmare, and I wouldn't wish it...
