From the moment I arrived, my stay at Joey’s Hostel Jaipur exceeded all expectations. The front-desk team greeted me with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, helping me settle in smoothly and kindly answering my many (sometimes jet-lagged) questions.
My room was spotless and comfortable — the bed was nicely made, the air-conditioning worked well (important in Jaipur!), and the shower had hot water instantly. The shared spaces were equally impressive: the common area felt welcoming and lively, encouraging conversation with fellow travellers, yet it was also easy to find a quiet corner when I just wanted to unwind.
Location-wise, the hostel is very well placed for someone wanting a convenient base in the city: close enough to local transport and restaurants, yet tucked away from the busiest noise so that I slept soundly every night. On one evening the rooftop hang-out made for a brilliant setting: great views, relaxed atmosphere, and I met some delightful people from all over.
What truly set this experience apart was the sense of community — the staff didn’t just act as service providers; they made me feel part of a friendly travel family. They offered insightful recommendations for Jaipur’s sights and even provided a few local tips I wouldn’t have found on a generic guide-site.
In short: excellent cleanliness, fantastic service, a strong social yet relaxed atmosphere, and a smart location. I left feeling happy, refreshed and already looking forward to my next stay. I wholeheartedly recommend Joey’s Hostel Jaipur to solo travellers, groups or anyone looking for more than just a...
Read moreOur recent stay at Joey’s Hostel was truly one to remember! We were traveling with family, and from the moment we arrived, everyone was made to feel completely at home. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy.
A special mention to Ronak, who was exceptionally kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. We really bonded with him — he went out of his way to ensure that not just us, but even our parents, were comfortable and well taken care of.
The property itself is lovely — clean, cozy, and beautifully designed with a touch of Rajasthani charm. The food was delicious and homely. Although the ground floor was under construction during our visit, it didn’t affect the comfort or experience at all.
We were lucky to be there during Diwali, and it made our trip even more special! The team invited us to join the Diwali pooja, diya decoration, and other festive activities, and we ended the night bursting crackers together with everyone at the hostel — it truly felt like celebrating with extended family.
We made so many wonderful memories here and would definitely love to stay again. Highly recommend Joey’s Hostel to anyone visiting Rajasthan — it’s a place where you arrive as a guest and leave as...
Read moreI stayed at Joey’s hostel Agra for three nights. It was such a great experience. Let me write down each of the positive experiences that I had:|1. The staffs were super friendly, especially K.K. and Shivang Srivastava. Let me share one experience I had with Shivang (who works as a coordination manager for Joey’s group): when I shared my interest to exercise, he was so kind that he allowed me to use his personal exercise equipment. Regarding K.K., he was the one who helped to check in, and he made the process super easy for me. I will never forget it, because I was super tired that night, and without him I would have collapsed at the reception.|2. Straight view of Taj Mahal.|3. Free morning tea and coffee.|4. Super cold (and it is absolutely cool when it is in Agra) rooms and comfy beds.|5. Fantastic toilets.|6. Absolutely amazing paid laundry system.|7. Good cafeteria and exceptional good roof top to hangout.|8. Biggest positive: super cheap.||Negatives: I got only one negative to say.|1. Surrounded by irritating taxi drivers (it is not their problem, it is the vibe of the entire city), which, unfortunately, they can’t...
