Hotel Bhawani International — Hotel in Jammu and Kashmir

We have been saying at this hotel for most of our trips & were satisfied earlier, while they have been deteriorating day by day now. The service has also been going low & also the quality of rooms.||We went there with our friends & since we had the comfort, we booked this hotel. Unfortunately to our surprise, since we booked it from MMT (possibly our assumption), they did not pay heed to what we requested for. While the rooms were decent, the washrooms werent upto the mark. There is always a concern of hot water in the hotel. They do not have room heater as well, while most others have it as a facility in the rooms. Winters there are too cold, especially at night & non availability of heaters is a concern. To add, even upon requesting for extra blankets, we were not provided the same. It was only post we returned & again called for it, we were provided for it.||We did request for simple breakfast of tea & bread toast. While the tea came decent, toasts were just ok.||They also did not accept Credit Card for payments, while most of the early times they have.||In all, a mixed stay at this place, while we have decided that we would not be looking at this place as an option next...

Hi all,||I went to Vaishno devi in the month of August and stayed at Bhawani International hotel. The hotel is very near to the bus stand (Katra) and the Katra market and also the ticket counter (yatra parchi) that is required for entering the premises of the temple. The hotel has different categories of rooms so I saw two of them one was the standard room other was the deluxe room. The deluxe room was very nice had a/c and charges were around 1400 for two (might vary as per season) but since we just had to spent few hours so we chose the standard room. It did not have a/c plus the view from the room was not pleasing, the bed was comfortable and hot water was provided 24x7. They charged 800 for 2 people. Overall I would say since you don't spend much time in the hotel you can chose this hotels standard room for stay otherwise the deluxe n other rooms are also good options. Plus you can ask the hotel people to get bus tickets if someone wants to travel to some other state. The staff is helpful and...

I was to give this hotel 5 stars for a lot of factors however I am settling with 3

Location - Best Probably in Katra, walking distance from Yatra Parchi Counter Just behind Niharika and Bus Station Katra, quiet & peaceful

Facilities - Decent hotel with large rooms and okay amenities given the cost + Katra is not a place where one stays for long

Food - Probably the best that I've had in a hotel for sometime now we tried their Dum Aaloo, Yellow Daal & Gobi Masala, breakfast Parathas along with Curd in two days and tasted brilliant given the fact they weren't using any Onion & Garlic & pricing along with quantity is good as well

However the worst part were the Tawa Roti which were hard like papad and broke into pieces and were not edible, I am attaching photos for reference
