Jamal Resorts — Hotel in Jammu and Kashmir

Spent 3 nights in December 2022. Reception, entrance lobby is very nice. Kashmiri carpets gives distinct look. There are 2 floors. But there is no elevator. Luggage was picked up by bellboys and delivered to room. Room: nice furniture, air conditioner, king size bed, table, chair, electric kettle, tea, coffee maker, air conditioner with remote control, television, intercom was provided. 3 seater sofa near window. View from window is normal. Interiors: curtains, carpets, bedsheets, blankets, pillows were clean. All toiletries were provided. Toilet had full size bathtub. Overall room was very good, clean and pleasant. Only one problem AC used to trip periodically and after calling to reception they used to switch MCB on. Also intercom had wrong connections couple of times received calls for other rooms. Restaurant: The best. Tasty food for breakfast and dinner every time. Veg, non veg was separate. Also they provide room service promptly. Lawn in front of hotel was nicely maintained. They also have their own shop in premises for Kashmiri clothes, antiques, jewellery etc. But Did not visit it. Hospital in front of hotel (was helpful for one of kid in our group) Overall very good hotel to stay...

We have booked three rooms in this resort well in advance (three months). Our tour was planned in Feb, which is off season in Srinagar. When we reached at the hotel in the evening , came to know that only one room was available instead of three. We requested the manager and argued also as we have done advance booking. Suddenly, the supply manager told us that we have no room available for you. Supply manager language was rough and loud. We then call booking agency, they called the resort manager but failed. Booking agency called us and informed us that they have arranged another resort for that day. Finally, after an hour or more, we got the rooms and surprisingly all rooms of the ground floor was vacant.

The room heater was not working and hot water was leaking from the heater. Our driver was in the car and we requested hotel manager to provide the blanket but management not provided a single blanket to drive. The out side temperature was...

Wow. Wow. Wow. This resort is still memorable. Even though this resort is quite far from city. The stay here is still memorable. Down the memory lane 5 years ago I had been here and just loved the stay here. Had stayed for 3 days and all I can say about the place is just amazing. Has a playing place maybe a table tennis board where I enjoyed a lot playing tt. Then there is Jamal carpet factory and omg this carpet is damm expensive. The rooms are really excellent. The quality of service, room service, food, behavior and everything is amazing. Makes us feel like we are at home. Had been through Cox's and Kings and definitely they gave a good 3star but it's worth a 5 star rating. If you goin. You can definitely stay here....
