RK Sarovar Portico Srinagar — Hotel in Jammu and Kashmir

Stayed here on Oct 9 2022. Location : good location, on the hills. Everything is nearby. Staff : The lady at the reception is the worst!! So cunning and rude. We came through our travel agent but she refused to take their calls. She took us full payment in advance even though we didn't do online booking. Service : They said their housekeeping is available 24x7, we called them at 7am for help but no one picked up the call. Hot water isn't 'hot', it's just warm, and we didn't get hot water even after emptying 3 buckets of cold water. Room : We got a room with view of mountains, could see sun rise and sunset at the corners. There was a wall right besides the bed, attached to bed, which is prone to injury on rubbing or during sleep. It should be cushioned but instead it was having a rough texture. The tea kettle was rusted and dirty. The AC was not effective. Bathroom was weird, it was just a glass cabin. It was really weird and old and dirty with no space to keep or hang your stuff. The drain wasn't covered. Food : Good dinner and good breakfast. Good variety....

A fantastic hotel which is near to the United nations main building , the road to it is a bit bad but the hotel compensates for it in a big way to begin with the positives , 1) the location , the convenience to the dal lake and market and to the airport.2) the fantastic food variety, the taste , the spread and above all the biggest asset the people .3) the suites given to us were incredible, just that the beds could have been bigger. 4) the room service was fantastic as I had a small child and Mr lateeef everything was like home. Now the real part A) the entrance has stairs which can be a very tricky affair as we were tith family and senior citizens a glaring mistake for not having an elevator. B) the bathroom was hugs but the wash basin was small, secondly the tub which was jacuzzi wasn't active and didn't have a holder to get up. There should have been an interconnectivity between the 3 buildings. Thank you serovar portico for a fantastic saty and a 4 star to a 5 as the thing missing...

We have booked 8 rooms in total. Poor response and poor hospitality. During check-in they made us wait for 30mins to get the room. They don’t have the liquor license due to which you have to drink inside the room which is a bit downside as the room size is smaller. This depends on your choice. We wanted to go for running, but there is no concierge in the morning and the gate was closed. We asked for an extra bottle of water for which they asked extra amount. We know that only two water bottles are given as complimentary , but a customer who has a bulk booking can expect one complimentary water bottle at least. They brought normal water which has dust in it. You can refer the image below. They are charging 7000/room which I feel is not at all worth. Last, if you have a bulk booking and expect few complimentary things, that will not work here at all. You will get this kind of service to everyone.
