OYO Hotel Prakash Regency — Hotel in Jhansi

Not a value for money hotel. AC was much like a showpiece because it couldn't cool the room in whole night & in the morning it started dropping ice on bed due to lack of maintenance. WiFi catches & connects but I couldn't use internet even though I was well in range. Dirtiest thing was that the drain water from wash basin runs all over in the bathroom as that drain pipe was not fitted anywhere. When I talked about it at reception, he told me that the management will work on it like they'll immediately make a trench on tiles for water drainage or earlier they've fitted the pipe anywhere.... If the room is being given, these things should be checked beforehand as these people will not maintain a thing till we say there is problem. My mistake was that while choosing room, I didn't paid much attention to bathroom as toilet was separated & was ok. And they print on bills"comfort of a 🌟 🌟 🌟 .' Just don't know how it can fall under 3 star category. Maybe because I opted for a 1200/- tariff room (might be cheap for other people) that I was accomodated this well but I didn't find it value for money in any manner. During our mumbai to madhya pradesh road trip, on way to gwalior, we decided to stay at prakash regency at jhansi. sure it is not excellent hotel with luxury facilities but its good option to stay near historical location & main market.||||Pros:||- excellent location, Main market with parking facility. ||- neat and clean rooms,||- 24 x 7 hot water with clean bathroom||-food was good & cheap & restaurant with BAR facility but family can feel comfortable||- room was very spacious||- peaceful in night ||- lots of restaurants nearby for food||- parking just outside hotel & safe||-Hotel owners & staff were cooperative & even changed room on our request.|| ||Cons :||- Traffic situation can be bad outside hotel with pollution||- no swimming pool & all, its just mess. off course its not quaint luxury hotel||-BAR is there with restaurant, can be uncomfortable for few||||Overall, this is still nice option at Jhansi, just walking distance to jhansi fort & other monuments. I hope nobody falls for the fake comments some put up about this hotel. I feel for it! I booked for three days at this hotel looking at all good reviews and same time budget stay. But turns out it was a nightmare and checked out the very next day without refund.||||What to begin with, bathroom is extremely untidy as if nobody has cleaned the rooms in decades, I saw from my own eyes they just swapped the bed sheets between rooms, washing is a distant thing, people are rude, very late service, again by very untidy personnel, though they mention wifi, internet doesnt work and when questioned this attitude, unhygine and untidiness, they responded saying "What more can you expect for 1600 Rs?" ||||The worst place to stay if you are visiting...
