Terrible Service, Long Wait

I recently had the displeasure of dining at the Radisson Blue Waterfront Restaurant, and I must say it was an utterly disappointing experience from start to finish. The poor service, interminable wait for food, and the absence of even basic amenities left me deeply dissatisfied.

First and foremost, the service at this establishment was nothing short of abysmal. The staff seemed completely disinterested in their customers, and their lackadaisical attitude was evident from the moment I walked in. Despite having made a reservation, I was made to wait at the entrance for an uncomfortably long time before being seated. The staff seemed oblivious to the fact that there were other guests waiting as well, leading to a disorganized and chaotic atmosphere.

The most glaring issue was the agonizingly long wait for our food. It took an astonishing one hour for our order to finally arrive at the table. This excessive delay left us frustrated and hungry, wondering if the kitchen staff had forgotten about us altogether. Such a lengthy wait is simply unacceptable, and it completely marred what should have been a pleasant dining experience.

To make matters worse, not a single staff member bothered to offer us water while we waited. This is a basic courtesy that should be provided in any reputable restaurant, but it seems the Radisson Blue Waterfront Restaurant falls far short of this standard. We were left parched and uncomfortable throughout the entire meal, further exacerbating our already negative impression of the place.

Overall, my visit to the Radisson Blue Waterfront Restaurant, Ranchi was a colossal disappointment. The combination of poor service, an excruciatingly long wait for food, and the complete disregard for providing something as basic as water left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. I would strongly advise anyone considering dining at this establishment to think twice and look for better alternatives...

A peaceful sanctuary

While this Radisson does not have all the frills or stylish luxury elements to qualify it to be a Radisson BLU, it certainly is a refreshing break from the chaotic circus outside in the city! The minute you enter the hotel, you leave behind the gritty and noisy shades of the city and enter a tranquil retreat. The best option in the city by far.

LOCATION: Good location in the heart of the city

DINE + DRINK: Multiple good F & B options. The HEROES bar is the best place to get some drinks in the evening. The breakfast spread is excellent at the lobby-level restaurant and totally worth waking up for. The PAPAYA restaurant is one of the finest Pan ASIAN restaurants in the whole region.

ROOM: We stayed in Room 618, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Sweet view of the cityscape, pool, and train track at a distance. ; SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Good spa quality Toiletries

FACILITIES: Fantastic Fitness center that is loaded with all kinds of weights and Cardio machines for a full on workout. The outdoor swimming pool is pretty good too. They also have a Spa on site.

SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Special Shout out to folks at the Lobby level restaurant who were so attentive and hospitable
