Moti Mahal Delux Tandoori Trail — Restaurant in Jharkhand

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food was not tasty at all, and the prices were high, completely not worth it. I ordered Veg Mix Noodles, but there was no salt in it—almost like they forgot to add it. The White Sauce Pasta had no seasoning and absolutely no taste. Later, we tried the Hyderabadi Chaap Biryani, but that too was completely tasteless. We couldn’t even eat the biryani and felt like we just wasted our money.The quantity was also very poor—not even enough for two people—and considering the high prices, it was totally disappointing. The only dish that tasted good was the Baby Corn Dry Chilli; everything else was below average.Even after giving feedback, the staff had no response; they were speechless and didn’t even offer any kind of compensation. The service was equally poor. The restaurant is just running on its name “Moti Mahal Deluxe,” but honestly, you can get much tastier food at a normal store or even a small food stall compared to what they served. Ambience and food quality is good. Still just gave it a 2 star because never experience any worst service like I received here. Here is our detailed experience.

Arrived at 8.45pm waited 15 mins to get a table which is understandable as they have to follow Covid Protocols. After the table was given to us, it took the waiter 20 mins to give us the menu. Almost after 40 mins they gave us water, which is not a sign of good service. The manager himself came to take the orders, he was running all around as I guess they were very much understaffed, Half of the menu items were not available. Asked the manager what items can me made and served faster, Few items were suggested by him. We ordered quite a few items, Chicken Mughlai was one of them and it tasted very good. Waiting time was again too long on the main course, Soya Chap was listed as their speciality it was too thick and rubbery, Neither the waiter or manager followed up on the food, how was it? how did you like it?? Basic service procedure. Definitely not what you expect.

I have ordered Pallu Kebab, Pahadi Kebab and Mushroom Salt and peeper in starter.. The pallu kebab and Pahadi Kebab were excellent in taste.. The chicken pieces were perfectly cooked n properly coated with masalas n highly recommended for chicken lovers.. Mushroom salt n peeper had average taste.. In main course I have ordered Mutton Raj Darbari and Tandoori roti... The mutton pieces were tender n super delicious.. The gravy had sesame seeds which gave a different taste to the curry.. Coming to dessert I tasted Shahi tukda and Cold coffee with Icecream.. The Shahi tukda was really Shahi in taste n highly recommended for sweet lovers.. Cold coffee with icecream was obviously very good.. The staffs were well mannered n well behaved.. Service was very good n fast.. Over all 5 star for food, ambiance n service..
