Jungli Moondance Restaurant — Restaurant in Jharkhand

After having read about Jungli and it's speciality in local Jharkhand food, we reached the place with much fanfare. However, we were disappointed to find out that due to low demand, Jungli only caters the local food on pre order basis(order before 2 hours atleast). They should put a disclaimer for the same. (Is Management reading this?)

Anyway, ambience is pretty decent even for a blazing afternoon sun(we went there for lunch). Service was quite slow but surprisingly every food item was freshly prepared. One could easily make out the freshness even of the Roti.

We had ordered Veg Jalfrezi, Dal Tadka, Chicken Jungli and Masala Kulcha. Everything tasted as decent as it could in any other restaurant, flavours were well balanced and Kulcha was to die for.

Quantity and pricing were mid average and it costed ₹ 933 for three of us.

Nothing expectional from an outsider's perspective but a decent restaurant...

WORST EXPERIENCE. Pathetic taste and even more Pathetic service. Went jungli moondance restaurant for birthday party and felt so embarrassed infront of my friends. Service and taste of the food was so bad that it ruined everyone's mood and my birthday too. When i asked staff to serve the cake, they just denied telling that its not allowed. When we asked for lemon water bowl, Staff told us that its not available and we should go to the basin that too in a very rude way. Served us half cooked chiken. We didn't even ate a single piece of chicken. When we complaint about that. They just told us that they are sorry but the tone didn't felt like...

Visited this place today. The ambience was really good. But the main problem is the price of the dishes. They are charging 1.5-2 times of the rates of other similar category restaurants but the portion served was much lesser than what we generally get in other similar restaurants. The taste was also ordinary and nothing at all to boast off. The service was also not upto the standard as the waiter was not at all sure about the recipies.
