Hotel Tawang Centre Point — Hotel in Kangto Range

I travelled in May 2022. Stayed here for 2 days and travelled around Tawang while staying here. Let me say this, my rating is in comparison with other hotels I stayed in Arunachal Pradesh. All the people around here Tawang/Bomdila/Dirang, they are just wonderful. So was this hotel but I will point out some pros and cons:

Pros: People are nice here. We initially booked for 3 days, but then cancelled the last day after going there. They did it without any hassle which was very appreciable. Price was reasonable. It was 2k for 3 people for 1 day.

Cons: You won't get any service after 9.30-10pm as all staff sleep off. The rooms feel very suffocating at night. You have to open the windows which can be colder. The location isn't quite good.

Conclusion: Overall the place wasn't that bad. But you will definitely find better for...

Pros Manager Mr. Tenzin is very helpful, approachable and ensures that you have best time at Tawang.

Location is in market area.

Jain food arrangements was special request, and the manager delivered as promised very well and promptly.

In bathroom, you get hot water instantly. Also, for drinking, hot water is available.

Permit for Bumla Pass was arranged by manager. He contacted us before arrival so that we can visit China border without hiccups. He was also able to help with getting one more passenger to share taxi to Bumla Pass.

Cons Hotel doesn't have car parking. Not sure if this is the case with all...

We had a family room which had two rooms and a bath. The rooms were clean and well maintained, The rooms were wood panelled so appeared a bit dark but i guess they work for the cold. The hotel does not have an onsite restaurant but there are restaurants nearby that can offer lunch and dinner. A tasty breakfast was served at the hotel.
