Phun’s Cafe & Bike rental — Restaurant in Arunachal Pradesh

It was a mixed experience. While the food was ok - not exceptional but fine - our experience was marred by a few things. We were a group of 10 people, with the vegetarians occupying one table and the non vegetarians occupying another. Despite this they mixed up our orders. The servers anywhere, while serving, announce the dish to avoid a mess up. They didn't, and we almost ate a non veg pizza. Luckily one person in our group spotted the chicken in time and then the server just picked up the slightly eaten pizza and served it to the other table.

The other issue was about the food being readied. Some of us had to leave early for sight seeing and our group requested for those dishes to be prepared first, but they kept getting dishes in the order they wanted. As it is they had a single chef and a single working oven, which slowed down the process. We ended up missing our sight seeing trip. We didn't go all the way to Arunachal for the normal bakery food, but we had already ordered and were stuck. After all this they had the gall to specifically request us to give them a 5 rating on Google as "competitors are paying people to give us...

An absolute delight of a place, especially if you are living near by and seek a change of taste from the usual food options available in and around the town. Quality of food is good all around, tried a range of offerings. The seating is also decent, typical contemporary ambience, best suited for a group of maximum 4. The only drawback is the location, since it's in the old market coming here by car is sure to make parking very difficult, if you can walk to the place then nothing like it. Alcoholic beverages are also on offer but with very limited options. Great experience, slightly on the higher side for prices but well worth the cost.
