Update (in response to owner's reply): Your reply perfectly sums up the level of hospitality and professionalism one can expect at your place—zero.
Mocking a guest for giving honest feedback, using emojis and immature comparisons, only proves that you're not running a business, but simply cashing in on unsuspecting visitors during peak season. You gave a room at ₹3K? That’s not a favor—it’s a transaction. And even for ₹1K, guests don’t deserve frogs in the bathroom, clogged drains, dirty beds, hair in food, and zero privacy.
Your so-called “farmstay” excuse doesn’t justify pathetic maintenance. Basic hygiene, working bathrooms, and hot water are not luxuries—they’re expectations, no matter where you are. Just because it’s not a concrete jungle doesn’t mean guests should feel like they’re staying in a swamp.
And yes, when the “complimentary” breakfast is so delayed and unhygienic that it’s unusable, any decent host would consider a small price adjustment. But clearly, customer satisfaction isn’t something you care about—arrogance is.
You weren’t doing us a favor by offering a stay. We paid for it. And now, we’re warning others so they don’t fall into the same trap. If this is how you respond to negative reviews—with sarcasm and mockery—then clearly, improvement is the last thing on your mind. All the more reason for people to avoid this place. ...............................................................
One of the worst maintainance. Rooms are not clean. There are a lot of mosquitos and Lizards. The bathroom was very bad. Drainage was not proper. Once you take a bath, the bathroom will be filled with water. Lot of frogs in the bathroom. Food quality and quantity is very bad. Found hairs in the food served and they cost a lot where they serve in a small bowl. We must wait for 1 hr once you order any food. They say campfire is included. But u have to bring all the materials and light the campfire which took us 45 mins. Food is really expensive and not so good. Rooms doesn't have any privacy. There is no hot water available in the rooms. There are 9 rooms and only 1 gas geyser. One has to wait for 20 - 30 mins for a bucket of hot water. This is really pathetic when one is in a hurry in the morning. Owner denied to reduce the price even though we didn't take the complementary breakfast. We had to skip breakfast because of this horrible maintenance, we had to wait for 45 mins for the hot water, and he was not ready to reduce the price.
Overall one of the...
Read moreAlright, I read all the reviews for this stay and was decived by the kind of service they offered. I think most of the 5 star rating reviews here are bogus. The owner must have forced them to write those reviews.
We had been to this Bodhi Sattva Yoga Monk Stay last week. There is only single person - MUTHU for everything! SHRAVAN was no where in the sight! Muthu has to cook the food, serve and take care of the guest needs all by himself. Hence everything is delayed. He seemed exhausted everytime we ask him something to do. We had to explicitly ask him things like towels, toothpaste, soap, water etc. They should have kept all these in the room before we arrive.
The substandard food arrived unbelievably late! If they cannot offer a basic standard service they shouldn't ask the standard price. For the bare minimum services that was provided, the price seemed exorbitant. And on top of it MUTHU kept bugging us for tips within few hours from our arrival. Without providing better service asking for tips is quite shameful.
I hope the owner takes this review constructively and either improve their services or lower the price.
The place is beautiful. You are going to stay in the farm (gadhe) so expect frogs, rats, crickets etcs. When we choose to stay in their territory we do not have the right to complain about them. If don't like being bothered by these animals just gets yourself a comfortable lodge and stay there.
I hope this review helps to make an informed...
