Tent Stay Disappointment My recent stay at this hotel was a far cry from the relaxing getaway I had hoped for. While the price was appealing, the numerous issues we encountered made it an experience I wouldn't recommend. We stayed in one of their tent accommodations, and unfortunately, the cleanliness was a major concern. The bed was not clean upon arrival, which was a very unpleasant start. The bathroom situation was equally disappointing. There was no hot water, a significant inconvenience. Even more concerning was the lack of basic amenities. We were provided with only one cup and one bucket for two people to share between two bathrooms and two toilets. This was unhygienic and simply unacceptable. Mosquitoes were a constant nuisance, making it difficult to relax inside the tent. Communication was also a barrier. The staff primarily spoke a language we didn't understand (and seemed unable to understand basic English or Hindi), making it challenging to address our concerns. Adding to the discomfort, the lighting in the tent and surrounding area was inadequate, making it difficult to move around safely at night. Finally, there were no provisions for eating outside food, which further limited our options. While the hotel is undeniably affordable, the numerous problems we faced made it not worth the trouble. I would strongly advise potential guests to consider other options, even if they are slightly more expensive. Horrible Experience - Misleading, Poor Service, and Rude Management

I stayed at this hotel recently, and it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the owner who was incredibly rude and unprofessional, making the check-in process uncomfortable. The property itself was poorly maintained – the rooms were dirty, and the amenities were either broken or outdated.

The most disappointing part was how misleading the photos on the website were. The pictures were clearly taken years ago, as they did not represent the actual condition of the property. The so-called "cleaning" was non-existent, and the room had dust, stains, and unpleasant odors.

When I approached the owner with my concerns, they were dismissive and unapologetic. I will not be returning or recommending this...

I recently visited Goutham Guest House & Restaurant in Hampi and had a pleasant experience overall. The food was decent — I’d rate it around three and a half out of five. While it wasn’t extraordinary, it was satisfying enough.

What really stood out was the ambience. The place is set against a stunning backdrop with fantastic mountain views that make dining here feel special. The guest house is also well-maintained, clean, and has beautiful flowers around, which add to its charm.

Since there were less staff during my visit, the food took a little longer to arrive, but that wasn’t a big issue. With time, I’m sure this can improve.
