The Gravity Cafe and Cottage Stay — Restaurant in Karnataka

The property is nice. However, it doesn't exactly match the reels available on Instagram, the paddy fields were totally dried. There are 4 dogs and puppies who are kept well and are really cute. Keshav was very helpful during the entire stay he is available from 8 am to 10 pm at the property. They don't contact via phone, they only have chat services that too via tele calling.

Food- No food is served here, the restaurant is close even for breakfast you have to go to somewhere cafe around the stay. Stay- Stay is okayish, they have huts made of bamboo, so don't expect supper luxury cottages, toilets are average, for Hot water they have geyzers from there you can take hot water before 8 am on your own, after 8 am the staff comes so they can help you with the hot water. They have 4 types. TENT Mobile homes- they are small tent size homes with space just for a bed. Queen's room- Wherein the view is of boulders, there are no paddy fields, the grass (feild) was fully dried. King's room.

Transport from this place- If you book i the morning it is available. Rickshaw rental is also available throughout the day. (Minimum is Rs.800 depending on the ditance of the spot) Cycle rental is not available.

It takes 30-40 Mins to reach here from Hospet Station and Rickshaw takes Rs. 800/- Buses ply, but the frequency is after 30 to 40 mins. Bus stand is at walkable distance from this property.

Staywise. For friends, it is a good option just to chill. For family with senior citizens, everything around this property gets shut by 8.30 pm except for restaurants. There are no street lights on the street, and streets are surrounded by fields. Please carry torch. Also they have steps to entre cottage area with no ramp for wheel chairs, although wheel chairs can be lifted.

My stay at The Gravity Café by Stay Chill, Hampi was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment I arrived, Nikhil Jr., the host, made me feel completely at home. His coordination and attention to detail were exceptional — always around to make sure every guest felt comfortable and cared for. It’s rare to come across such genuine hospitality, and it’s always a pleasure to go back and visit them again.

The property itself is beautifully nestled in the heart of Sanapur, surrounded by lush greenery. The rooms are simple yet perfectly in tune with nature — not overly luxurious, but exactly what you’d want when you’re looking to disconnect and experience the serenity of Hampi.

A special mention to Meher and Keshav, the chefs, whose food truly deserves all the praise. Every dish they prepare is comforting, flavorful, and cooked with heart — it’s the kind of food that leaves you smiling after every meal.

Sleeping here was an experience in itself. The natural sounds of crickets and the calm atmosphere created one of the most peaceful nights I’ve ever had. While you might encounter the occasional mosquito (as you would in any nature retreat), the team provides mosquito nets — and once you’re tucked in, you’re surrounded by nothing but the music of nature and complete tranquility.

I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting Hampi — for its hospitality, food, and the soulful connection to nature it offers. A heartfelt thanks to both Nikhil Sr. & Jr. and the team for making the stay so special.
