I recently had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Kavitha Residency, and overall, my experience was quite pleasant. The hotel is located in a convenient area with easy access to various attractions and amenities, making it a suitable choice for both business and leisure travelers.
Firstly, the staff at Hotel Kavitha Residency were friendly and welcoming. They greeted me with warm smiles and promptly assisted me with the check-in process. Throughout my stay, they remained attentive and responsive to any queries or requests I had, ensuring that I felt comfortable and well taken care of.
The rooms at the hotel were clean and well-maintained. My accommodation was spacious and thoughtfully designed, offering a comfortable environment for relaxation. The bed was cozy, and the amenities provided were satisfactory. The room also had a good Wi-Fi connection, which was convenient for my work requirements.
One aspect that stood out to me during my stay was the food. The hotel's restaurant served a wide variety of delicious dishes, ranging from local cuisine to international favorites. The quality of the food was impressive, and the presentation was appealing. The restaurant staff were attentive and provided excellent service, making dining a delightful experience.
In terms of facilities, Hotel Kavitha Residency offered several amenities to enhance my stay. The gym was well-equipped and allowed me to continue my fitness routine. Additionally, the hotel had a business center that provided a quiet and conducive environment for work-related tasks.
One area where I feel the hotel could improve is in terms of its decor and ambiance. While the interiors were clean and comfortable, they lacked a certain level of sophistication and contemporary design that could enhance the overall experience. Updating the decor to create a more modern and inviting atmosphere would greatly benefit the hotel's appeal.
In conclusion, my stay at Hotel Kavitha Residency was enjoyable, primarily due to the friendly staff, clean rooms, and delicious food. Despite some minor room for improvement in terms of decor, the overall experience was positive. I would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and convenient stay...
Read moreThe location and price has to be the best things about this property. This is a 20-year old hotel in Urwa area in Mangalore which is actually the mid-point of all the famous tourist sites and also all the must visit restaurants. It took me not more than 30 mins to reach the farthest site in my itinerary which was about 17 km. Plus this is an area filled with hustle-bustle and vehicles so feel comfortable roaming around late in this area. The room size is big compared to the price you give. I gave ₹800 + 12% GST = ₹896/day which is very cheap given the room size and bathroom size and facilities the room has. Not something super extra-ordinary but yeah total value for money. The staff is super-friendly and they do house clean-up every morning which is also good. They have free Wi-Fi but it is not that good quality.
A few things are not that of a bummer. Firstly they charge a whopping ₹25/cloth for laundry which is a bit high. Secondly, I spotted a few cockroaches while in my stay in the bathroom and near the bed. The room has a somewhat dingy and damp smell and feels even if you open the windows. Thirdly, the staff seems to not remember your room number no matter how many times you say that. I had to say my room number 6 times on different occasions which is a bit weird. Lastly, they had some window issues fixed up by a carpenter while I was in the room (although with my permission) which is not professional. All fixing and clean up should be completed before the guest's arrival.
All in all it is a good property but if they can fix these minor issues, it will be one of the best value for money properties...
Read moreNice spacious room. It was ac room, don't know about other rooms. Big enough to play badminton inside. Some lights were fused but that's not an issue. Year end prices were of course high. Comfortable beds, it was twin sharing but unlike other hotels, here you could move the bed side table and join the beds. Roof top bar and restaurant is pretty nice, and has good view, food is tasty and reasonably priced. However during rush hours you will get limited options. For example during new years eve there were quite a few chicken dishes not available as suggested by the waiter May be it was closing time and they didn't want complicated orders. However I returned next afternoon to order chicken lazeez.. again. It s tasty. unlike Kerala and telengana... which i was traveling in December 2018... there are plenty wine shops throughout Mangalore and reasonably priced. Hotel is located at the entrance to Mangalore and there isno traffic congestion. However parking space is very limited. You will have to park your car on the roadside without any security.cctv is available though. Bikes can be parked underground next to local drinkhole and it's safe since the shutters are closed at night. Employees are cool no issues. This hotel has ample drinks around. A..Local bar underground. B... quality wine shop road facing C.... bar and restaurant near entrance D..... Roof top bar and restaurant....
What else do you...
