Palmgrove Restaurant (Vegetarian) by Hotel BMS — Restaurant in Karnataka

Went there. Horrible... I am giving this one star just because the navrathan kurma was good. Ordered roti with it which was ok in taste. We ordered dahi Puri and papdi chat and they took a very long time to serve it. The restaurant wasn't even full. Poor service in serving efficiency and also the waiters are having a group chat near the hand washing area. Not available to order. They don't even check if we need to order something extra. Ordered curd rice next and it was the most disappointing thing ever. The rice was clumpy, no salt, tasted yuck and sufficient curd was not added. Struggled to finish it. We had ordered lime soda sweet and salty along with our food but they didn't bring it. At the end, the waiter came and asked if we need anything to drink and we informed that we had already ordered lime soda. They had forgotten.... And after all of that, the lime soda tasted horrible... Very sour from the lime with little to no sugar added. It was a real struggle finishing it. Calm and quiet dining experience. Huge parking lot and Large restaurant with lots of tables and space to move. Food is good not outstanding . Roti we ordered came under cooked and had to be sent back. Starters in paneer and mushoom were good. Gravy dish in paneer was good. The head steward was attentive and understood our food orders quite well however the waiters let him down. We reminded our softdrinks 4 times in interwals of a few minutes. While he passed on the reminder to kitchen, it didn't come to our tables for at least 10 minutes. We and one more customer were the only tables occupied . Food getting ready in kitchen may take time, but removing the seal of a thumsup bottle and serving hardly needs time in a restaurant having 20 plus tables but with only 2 tables occupied. Sadly I have to agree with the rest of reviews here about unattended and negligent service requests . Wether management reads these...

Food was good. But the service was not to the expected level. I think they need to train their people sufficiently from writing down the order to delivering the food to the correct table. We faced lot of confusions as they were serving some other orders to our tables and bringing extra than ordered quantity... Etc And also they shall be trained in explaining the process of cooking and ingredients of each particular dish as this restaurant is situated on highway and people travelling long distances will be visiting quite frequently as locals. When someone asks "what is this moode " or about particular local breakfast varieties, the order taking person shall promptly respond with adequate information. And employ people who can communicate in hindi properly... At least one so it...
