The resort is nicely located with a view of the kudle beach. The beach itself is a 10 mins walk from the resort but with stairs and some untarred pathways. But nothing extreme. The resort has all the amenities to keep your kids busy for the stay, a swimming pool, games area and even a spa with treatments available for both adults and kids. The really good thing is that the pool remains open till 10:30 or atleast at this time of the year was so it was very convenient to go for a swim even late in the evening. The staff was really helpful and did everything possible to keep your stay comfortable and meet the requirements. Some improvement areas are that the Deluxe room where we stayed for the 1st night, seems to need better maintenance. For the next 5 nights we were in the club Suite and those rooms are good slightly more spacious with a nicely equipped kitchenette. So if possible always book the suite rooms. Even the linen I felt was much more cleaner in the suite than the night that we stayed at the Deluxe room. The resort doesn't serve alcohol or even allow it in their restaurant But you can have it without any issues in your room. Infact they will help you with glasses, lemon, ice cubes as well which was much appreciated. From the 2nd night onwards we started freezing our own ice in the fridge provided. In the suite room they had even provided a couple of wine glasses. The other drawback atleast at the time of our stay was that the restaurant menu was limited due to the tandoor chef being on leave plus a lot of other things taking a very long time (eg Pizza would take 1 hour). They normally cook fresh except some standard items for the day which may be on the menu so it is always advisable to plan your meal and order it in advance. They call you when the food is ready which is helpful. The approach road is really in a bad state and the roads in general are small lanes in Gokarna town so we ended up leaving our car parked in the resort for the entire stay and renting scooters for the daily outings to beaches. About the stairs i think they have already mentioned that on their website as well so if you have elderly or someone with movment restrictions then take a decision after checking those things. All in all I would recommend the resort as long as you don't have a luxury 5-star kind of stay in mind. For the money and the place it was very good and wouldn't mind going back there again.

Read moreWe recently had stayed at Kudle Beach View resort April 13th to 15th April and would like to share some feedback regarding our experience as well as offer some suggestions for improvement.
Firstly, I must express my admiration for the remarkable ambiance and the impeccable cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms. The overall atmosphere of the property truly was as per my expectations.
However, I must bring to your attention a couple of issues that detracted from an otherwise positive experience. Despite having received confirmation for the AP Meals plan, there appeared to be a breakdown in communication within the front office team. Upon arrival, we were surprised to find that our meal preferences had not been properly noted. Although this was eventually rectified, the uncertainty surrounding our dining arrangements, particularly regarding lunch and dinner being served Ala Carte, caused unnecessary confusion and inconvenience.
I must commend Mr. Chandra Kanth for his exceptional assistance and accommodating demeanor during this time. His intervention helped to alleviate our concerns and mitigate the anxiety we experienced as a result of the initial miscommunication. However, I believe that providing guests with advance notice of any changes in the system would prevent such situations from arising in the future.
Furthermore, I must express my disappointment regarding an additional issue we encountered. Despite having opted for the AP Meal plan, we were unexpectedly charged for evening tea and coffee. This discrepancy led to a series of discussions and left us feeling disheartened, particularly considering the significant amount we had already invested in our stay.
In summary, while there were aspects of our experience that were highly commendable, such as the quality and taste of the food, there were also areas that left room for improvement. With better communication and a more transparent approach to billing, I am confident that future guests will enjoy a seamless and truly exceptional experience at your establishment.
Thank you for considering my feedback, and I look forward to witnessing the positive changes that will undoubtedly enhance the guest experience at...
Read moreThis place has a soul of its own. Amazing place to stay and enjoy a peaceful vacation. The view is absolutely breathtaking. The building is oriented towards Kudle beach and every room except the garden view rooms have a perfect view of the scenery. Once you enter ..you are greeted with the view of Kudle beach and the surrounding forest. It's serene. The staff was very courteous and polite. I noticed that most of them didn't look me in the eye ..while talking which made me a bit uncomfortable. But that aside. Amazing place.
When talking about the building I have to talk a lot about the architecture, since it's a hospitality business and the architecture plays a very important role in the way a customer feels. The laterite cladding have a nice earthy feel which I liked, the pathways to the rooms were also made with laterite cut steps. A nice design. The handrails made of laterite was coherent with the overall design even though some of the handrails looked like it was made of cement and tried to replicate the common "branches or roots of tree" vibe. That is not good. The garden was covered in Korean grass...which is okay. The interiors of the rooms felt unappealing..and outdated. The usage of granite in washrooms remained me of old resorts. This place is old but I think they should try for a new look, a refresh if you may.
The lighting in the rooms were also dull. What makes a hotel room warm and welcoming is the lighting and material palette. They are in dire need of a competent interior designer for sure.
The new building was under construction when I visited and I hope they will address this interior design situation. Please don't stick to the old interior design style.
The food from this place was good. Nothing to ride home about. It was fresh and tasted above average. Nothing made me go wow. You came for the view, you stay for the view.
I would suggest this place to anyone who would like to take a break from their busy lives. Visit kudle beach and this resort. It's...
