Our guests were visiting from another state to attend an event in Davanagere, and I had made all the necessary arrangements in advance, including confirming and paying for a late check-out. Despite this, there was a clear lack of internal communication among the hotel staff.

During the engagement function, I received multiple calls from a lady at the reception (her name was not mentioned) asking whether we would be opting for a late check-out and stating that payment was required. This was incredibly frustrating, especially since everything had already been paid for and confirmed beforehand. I had ensured that all arrangements were taken care of so I could focus on the event without interruptions. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.

To add to the disappointment, one of the room key cards was misplaced, and although we informed the staff promptly, they made an unnecessary fuss about it during check-out.

I had a truly wonderful experience at Mango Hotel, Davangere. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and extremely well-managed. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained, making it a perfect stay.

A special highlight of our visit was the exceptional restaurant service. The entire team at the restaurant deserves heartfelt appreciation for their warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism. Shivakumar,Krish, Hasnath, Rakesh, Mysty, and the entire restaurant team truly made our dining experience memorable. Every meal was served with care, and their genuine hospitality added a personal touch that made us feel right at home. The food was consistently delicious, well-prepared, and presented beautifully.

It’s rare to see such dedication and teamwork, and I want to sincerely thank the restaurant staff for their outstanding service. They were always courteous, quick to respond, and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed.

We had to book this hotel at the 11th hour. However, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone until and unless you are stuck and you just need to somehow spend one night here. The architecture is good, transparency is good. But you need to call a minimum of two to three times to get a bottle of water. So you actually do not get prompt room service. The restaurant is pretty slow too. The food is good but I would not recommend it as it is not worth the penny you pay. The worst thing is they did not maintain cleanliness. Washroom was not cleaned properly, towels were damp, the extra bedding provided was damp too. The night shift staff is not at all happy if you ask them for the extra bedding which you are paying for.
